Remarks

Highlight about SND college is his management. All management support students in every aspect. Training department was also good and organize java training for BE students.My overall college experience is good. I learn many things and also enjoyed a lot.

Entrance Preview

As per DTE, I was filled online application for getting admission in Pune university college for my BE degree and for that I have completed 12th and CET entrance exam was there. No interview process was followed. I select Computer because on those days it is very famous branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum of BE computer includes software as well as some hardware subjects. I am in 2008 pattern so exam conducted is total 100 marks theory after that patterns changed. College focus on practical learning. Research was not taken from college when I was studying.

Internships Opportunities

No internship provided from SND. If students wants to do internship they need to visit companies their own and find it. No experience of internship.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is poor. Only 2-3% students got placed from SND. Only 2-3 small scale companies visited in college in 2015 which are quickheal and Aress solutions. They offered 1.5-2 lpa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for SND college is not too high. Fee for open category is 60000 and for OBC student fee is near about 30-32 K. Other caste category student fee is 6000 only. Fee includes all maintainance, stationery and developmemt fee.

Hostel Facilities

College hostel is small but food quality is good. College hostel has 3 sharing rooms and fee is 30,000.

Faculty

Faculty of SND is not so much experienced. College staff is newly joined and recently ME passout. They don't have teaching experience still their teaching standard is very good.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

This college has a very big Alumni network. Because this college is started in 1982. And its highest package is 300000 and its average package is 4.5 lakh. And the graph of placement increases year by year.

The Hidden Gem for Enginners

Eligibility of engineering course was student got 50% in 12th and must have given MHT-CET exam. Also student go through the CAP process to get admission in college. Application forms will be provided in the CAP process which is held by AICTE.They also mentioned the application fees and dates on form after filling all the details. Students go through CAP round process. For my caste reservation the college fees was cut down half. So I need to pay only half of my entire fee structure and it is very economically good for those students whose financial condition is not good.
