Remarks

College overall experience is not good. College is not located in prime location, students face many issues like transport. Management is not giving salary to staff on time so staff are on strike some time.

Entrance Preview

After 12th HSC exam, I got admission in engineering for mechanical branch. No interview and one entrance exam given which is CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum of Mechanical Engineering is good as its decided by pune university. In first year all branches have same subjects and after we have special subjects of mechanical which includes production and machinery knowlege.

Internships Opportunities

College is not good in internship. Students paying higher amounts to companies for getting internship. No stipend was given.

Placement Experience

Placements are average. Core companies not visiting in this college because college is not in prime location. Some companies visited like amazon and average package offered is 2.5 lpa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is high as per the college education and infrastructure. Fee cost Rupees 56000 per year for me as I am in OBC category.

Faculty in this college is not good for all branches but mechanical staff is good in teaching. Staff is less co-operative in other aspects.Not that much experienced staff.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

So basically I applied for main branch of sinhagad college which is Sinhgad collage of engineering . But the cutoff of the college was high comparatively to these so I chooses these . Review of SITS, Narhe.

1) As I wasn't scored good enough in JEE so I couldn't get admission top engineering collges that time. Sinhgad Institute was good option for me because it's renowned institute in Pune and also has good placement record compared to other collges like JSPM, AISSMS etc. 2) Yes I got rejected from many institutes such as VIT, PICT, PCCOE due to low scores in entrance. 3) Admission procedure for college is according to guidelines given by State common entrance test cell. To get admitted to any colleges in Maharashtra Or all over india has one entrance exam i.e. JEE mains. Cutoff of my campus was somewhere around 85-90 percentile when we got admissions.
