Likes
- Supportive and fun teaching faculty members. Everyone from our department were very supportive especially in the placement period.
- Placement rate. The amount of student placement rate is quite decent. Unlike in our batch due to recession it faced bit difficult for students to get companies but still college tried bringing more number of companies to college.
Dislikes
- Campus is very small. Exposure to more knowledge is difficult.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was quite simple and difficult at the same time. It was not at all lengthy with decent length had taught lot many things which are needed while you apply in your final placement rounds. Yes the curriculum do matter in the placement.
Placement Experience
Placement rate is quite decent. But due to market recession our batch faced a lot of difficulties. But college made sure to bring as many companies to students. Most of students opt for placements while some of them go for masters or further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee for general category student was around 1.10L per year. But they had options for applying for scholarships which would reduce their fees upto 50%. And fee structure of OBC category which I was, was 55625. Almost 50% .
Campus Life
Aa the campus was small there were not a lot to explore. But yes the crowd was decent and our college did had two to three clubs . Some were department wise and some were for overall crowd. Above all there was NSS club.
Hostel Facilities
Sinhgad hostels were some of the most comforting and decent hostels in decent amount of fees you'll find in Pune. The facilities were good . Rooms were well ventilated and had decent amount of space. There were four girls in one room. Only the missed part of puzzle is mess. But that was quite good as compared to other mess.
Admission
To get admitted to any colleges in Maharashtra Or all over india has one entrance exam i.e. JEE mains. Cutoff of my campus was somewhere around 85-90 percentile when we got admissions. Also these colleges also accept state entrance test i.e. MHT-CET. Through which also students are able to take admissions to engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
Faculty
All the faculty members were masters degree Or phd degree holders. And with reputed degree they had decent to excellent knowledge as well. They were very supportive and friendly so we could go to them any number of times for our doubts.
