this college has a very good infrastructure and best campus life in here everyone can enjoy and spend their time with their friends
the clubs and student projects which are very active they help students to learn things quick and very useful
the food is one of the best thing in manipal they have the best menu every week

Dislikes

the distance between hostel and classrooms its too far
the climate is humid and suddenly starts raining

Course Curriculum Overview

i think cse is the best branch in every college and 80 students in each class in my cse group there are 250 members which is less number compared with other colleges and there is a good faculy for every 25 students there is a teacher gaurdian there is one mid term exam and end sem exam its not that tough to pass moderete level examination

Internships Opportunities

there are many companies like google which offer internships and placement in the 5th sem the internship is around 50k per month in the holidays and we can get palced easily in the companies with the internships some students vist other countries for internships

Placement Experience

students are eligible for the placemets from 5th sem and the placements are high the avg package for cse core is 18lpa and this year the to 10 students got offered 50lpa package which is very high and avg package for all the branches is 12lpa and high for core branches

Fees and Financial Aid

i think its quite expensive but worth the money good facilities are provided there are some scholarships and internships offerd in the collage in the first year its 325000 but fron 2nd year it goes up for complete 4 years the fee is 25l including hostels the food is so good best food compared with others

there are 2 major fests tech tatva and revels one in odd sem and oher in even sem the biggest fests in manipal and there is lots of fun in the campus there are many things to explore in manipal there are many clubs and student projects which are very active.the classrooms are very big and so good.there are many sports events also conducted by students

Hostel Facilities

the hostel is maintance is so good by zolo they clean rooms every day including toilets and the food is good chicken is in the menu day after day which is good and the hostel and mess including the fee is 127000 which is affortable price

Admission

to get into this collage first we need to score good in entrance exam met then we can apply for the counselling we can choose the course and we can participate upto 3 rounds and need to pay our complete first year fee through online no reservation is considered i think this admission process is so smooth and simple compared to other collages i got 1347 rank and cse core branch in main campus

from 5th sem your are eligible for sitting placements in pesu we get 500+ companies and 2000+ offers in that major amazon,flipkart,apple, jp morgen more. the highest salary that i seen is 69 lpa package . meesho offered 58LPA and apple offered 52lpa Packages . 90% students getting placed here my plan to do mtech in pesu

In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

Decent college for studies only

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, we will be eligible for placements. Mostly IT and networking companies visit the campus like Cisco, Arista, etc. Mercedes-Benz also visits the campus but the acceptance rate is very less. The highest package is around 30-40 L ctc. On average the package will be 7L. Last year our seniors got placed with a rate of 96%. I want to go for further studies.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More

For you to get the Manipal name you have you give met which is Manipal Entrance Test. You have to score above 40 to get any seat in manipal.After that there are three rounds of counselling which you have to clear .. the college does not support any sort of reservation..
