This college give students sufficient time to work on their skills.
The alumini network of the college is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is somewhat outdated like in any of the other engineering college. There is a extra credit system in which you have to do some courses by NPTEL to get 20 credits extra which gets you the B.Tech (Hons.) Degree. The student faculty ratio is very poor here not as much it can be. The professors here are PHD Qualified by IITs or any abroad University.

Placement Experience

Placements at the college are average the students become eligible from the 6th semester till 8th Semester. Companies visited here are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, and much more. Placement opportunity is not as much here so you have to try off campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure here is the best compared to any of the college in India. Any student of any background can easily survive here and scholarship of state government is cherry on the cake. Cost to study here is very cheap the hostel fee is just 2000 rupees per year.

Campus Life

Life at campus is not asuch as you will expect. There are various clubs here and can also create any other new club in the college, if needed. Availablity of books in the library is good, you can take the books for yourself and there are various different types of books.

Admission

Admission done in this College by JEE Mains exam and counseling donevia MP DTE Portal by M.P. Gov. To find application form, application fees and dates go on to the official website of JEC Jabalpur. The eligibility of the courses or to take admission is to pass 12th with PCM and with a recognised board of education. Reservations are provided based on your caste and economic background, some of the benefits of the reservation in the college are reduction in college fees, and much more.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Also I prefer hostel life which I got in this college with minimum fee . Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch . Mostly students preferred CSE , IT and AI branch . I also applied in SGSITS indore but because of my low score I didn't make it to go there...Read More
