A Journey through MDIM

The student-to-faculty ratio is good. for every stream, there is a pool of 2-7 teachers at max. The teaching techniques are comprised of advanced methodology followed in the class. The emotional quotient of the teachers are high per se, making them much more understanding and patient. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders from distinctive IIMs and IITs bringing versatility to the table. Talking about the exams they are 3.5-4.5/5 in terms of toughness and each carries different weightages for mid and end sem respectively.

TATA, ICICI, TECH MAHINDRA, DABUR, and TATA AIG these being some of the prominent companies to offer 30k-90k stipends and also offer ppos. also, other startups are there to hire students such as Bluestone, Jio Creative Labs, Middle Earth, etc.

The highest package is 15-20 lakhs one being stackq and the average package being 11 lakhs offered by ICICI bank. I have got an internship in Dabur with a 30000 INR stipend. 120 students got placed out of 189 till now.

There is as such no opportunity for the scholarship if you are not from a reservation background, and the fee hike is moderately low and can go up to 1.5 more in 2024-26 FY. I have got an internship in one of the fastest growing FMCG companies ie, Dabur with a stipend of 30,000 INR. Tata Steel and ICICI Bank make the highest stipend with 80,000- 90,000 INR in 2024.

There are more than 20+ clubs and committees across the MDIM campus organizing more than 5 events every week. Major events are the Hult prize, camzotica, Treasure hunt, and many more flagship events of different clubs. As per the classroom goes there are attached with AC and large enough with comfy chairs and water coolers and toilets at every corner of floors. Cricket and volleyball are played as by far the most eminent games in mdim. The food is great having a variety for every part of India. Anngethi is the cafe in collaboration with MDIM. it is a paradise for the students of mdim. a lot of folks including me hand around the gardens of mdim. Try getting into the placement committee or PR media committee you will get many benefits from that.

There are single and double sharing rooms at Mdim called Eklavya and Siraj. PGs are difficult to find in that area but the hostels are much affordable. a table, chair, almirah, and bed are being provided in the single and 2 times of the items in double sharing.

80+ percentile scores are being considered as leverage towards the admission process in MDIM. The application form is generally opened in February (probably 1st week) and through the websites, the forms are floated and can be filled from there. If you have a reservation quota the tuition fees are waived off up to 100% depending on the percentile and certain other factors. The admission process is quite smooth and transparent also there are different telegram channels created for those who are willing to take part in this college. The eligibility of the course is a minimum of 3 to 4+ years of diploma in any field.

There was a group discussion round in the selection of the college about the Ukraine-Russian war. followed by 1 round of interviews consisting of 3 panelists. The questions were fair and strategic with different situations and more likely on yourself. For eg: tell me about yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses, Why MBA etc, academic was touched less for my process as I had work ex., you can watch different videos from YouTube or write your words and design your answers and then review them and practice in front of any person.
