Likes

I liked campus and the environment. It's history.
I liked the Library facilities. AMU holds one of the biggest university library in India.
I like the culture of AMU and it's various sports facilities

Dislikes

One thing I disliked is though the campus is open but the society is very closed. Boys and girls do not really interact with each other as compared to others.
I disliked the politics that is being played at AMU. AMU is too much politicised. There are even instances of gun firing and gang fighting.
Though the teachers are too experienced,but few teachers really do not want to teach. They are only concerned about completing the syllabus rather on the quality of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed in keeping the UGC NET JRF exam in mind. The faculties are experienced, they have atleast teaching experiences of atleast 20 years. All are top notch faculties, but some teachers are lazy too.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are applying for masters in arts, then you'll just have to pay 12000rs. This includes your hostel fee too. So the fee is negligible. And you have to pay 1500 a month for food. Also you can apply for national and state scholarships while studying. In short, AMU is too cheap.

Campus Life

The AMU has cultural heritage infrastructure. It is one of the biggest university in India. More than 60 percent of the area is green. The atmosphere is really mesmerizing. The students are friendly and helping. AMU has lots of clubs and sports facilities. Students run various social groups like SFI , ABVP and many other.

Admission

I qualified AMU entrance exam for Masters and got admission. The entrance test was moderate. The questions were asked from the syllabus and were more based on facts. I belong to General category, but AMU provides good facilities for disabled and blinds. I hope this benifits you. Yes i would recommend that AMU should release their cut-off marks which are not released. They directly provides rank to the applicants and the admission is done accordingly

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only specific aspect of choosing this curriculum is I wanna go in a teaching position . I'm doing masters in sociology and it's really help me to prepare well for my future job. In my college the teaching methods is quie good for me and in my perspective the frequency and difficulty levels of exam is not excessive.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not apt as the cirricullum is. but 3-6 lakh per annum package is average you can expect from Amity University. Almost 20 % student get placed in my couse , I can't say of other courses. I plan to work on counselling part and explore opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Placement was not satisfactory, they usually call the sales company like Policybazaar, Religare and banks. Also they connect some more comany like tcs and some finance-based jobs. most of the student get a job by their own reference

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

Overall this college is a good choice over other colleges if you're not getting main campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is a very good and a very interesting subject. The curriculum over here focuses from basic to advance level . It starts its syllabus from basic micro and cover almost every field of economics. The curriculum try to give application in real world by adding dissertations, field surveys in syllabus. There are 4 semester in master and in every semester there is an end semester exam (that is of 70) and mid semester exam (that is of 30 marks) . The exam is mostly moderate .
