Likes

The canteen. Food are good and its purely veg.
Shops are available inside the college. Which is useful for students.
The way of delivering lecture by the faculties.

Dislikes

About the college timing its like a school timing.
About the syllabus its little bit tough to crack the exam.
There is no free for law department students comparing to other departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because law is my passion. Faculty are student friendly. Faculty completed masters in law and some doing PhD. Every month they conduct cia examination for 3 months. It's little difficult to pass.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Accenture, Wipro, TCS and many more. These are the companies offered internship. And placement too. I done my internship at thanjavur district Court. Many opportunities available after the completion of this course.

Placement Experience

At the 9th semester students are eligible for placement. Accenture, Wipro, TCS and many more. These are the companies offering placements to our university. More the 90% students get placed. My plan to practice as an advocate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Duration of the course is 5years which includes 10 semesters. For each semester you have to pay around 80000. Totally it will come around 7 to 8 lakes. No scholarship provided by the university but we can apply for education loan.

Campus Life

Auto Club. Oratory and Debating Club. Literary Club. JAM Club. Quiz Club. Fine Arts Club. These are the clubs maintained by our students. They conduct a fest called kurukasatra every year. Its a event for 3days. Cricket, football are available.

Admission

No need for any improvement because my college is well advanced in technology. Must completed 12th grade in merit and complete clat entrance examination. Application form is available in the official sastra website.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is not great when compared to other national law university but still better than some private colleges. Companies such as Trilegal, Argus has visited our college to recruit students. Though I plan on pursuing judiciary.

Best Government Law college in Madurai

Remarks:

The Government Law College, Madurai is overall a good college. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Faculty is also helping and skilled. Labs are updated and the library has a variety of useful books. The college is having a lot of facilities like hostel facility canteen facility sports etc.
