The sports like football, cricket, hockey are not encouraged in the college even if the grounds are available. College always care about the education and exams results criteria of the students irrespective of the students interests. This has to be changed very badly to improve the quality of results in academics. The overall experience in the college is good and time passed very easily.

The entrance exam is common engineering entrance test to get admission in engineering. If we got the best rank we can get admission Directly in to the university. Otherwise like me, the students get admission in to the colleges affiliated to the local universities. There is no interview for any students who are from the same state.

The course curriculum is good. From my childhood itself I have dreamt to be a civil engineer as it enables us to learn about the construction of buildings ,soil mechanics. The focus on practical learning is more and there are many research initiatives taken by the college and the elective options are not much.

The internship opportunities are good and the college provides internships for the students to gain experience of working.Bhagavan Constructions,Prakruti Avenues Pvt Ltd. Jyothula Associates are some of the local companies where our internships are organized. The experience is good and average stipend is about six thousand rupees to eight thousand rupees.

The placement scenario is good and nice. Almost every year two thousand to three thousand students of the passing out students are being selected for jobs in different companies in campus placements only. The Major companies that visited the campus are ap genco, suchirindia constructions, and some private sector companies also. The average package for a student is about three lakhs per annum.

The fee structure is high when compared to other groups of engineering. That is why most of the students who are although interested do not join this course. The fee structure is about eighty thousand rupees to one lakh rupees per year excluding books fee, lab fee and transportation fees. The students who got admission through back door are charged almost about two lakhs per annum which differed a lot from the normal fee paid by other students.

The faculty are qualified and good in teaching. The experience of the teaching faculty are not revealed by the college administrators but we can expect experience of five years at the least based on their teaching procedures. The teachers are very interactive and gives speeches often about issues other than education. The standards of teaching are maintained high.
