Likes

I like the greenery of the campus. The University has created a Department of Lands and Gardens to maintain the green parks in the campus.
Fine Arts Department has an art gallery where artists exhibit their artworks every year.
The students here behave very politely with you.

Dislikes

The washrooms of Fine Arts department are bad and always dirty and the drinking water is not good.
The quality of food in the central canteen of the university campus is very poor.
Unknown persons in the campus come to the faculty without any restriction.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a good artist, that is why I chose this course The Department of Fine Art at Aligarh Muslim University was established in 1988. All the faculty members of the department are well educated and well mannered. Fine art practical classes are held in Labroom and Presentation classes in Smartclass room. The exams are completed on time and you have to work hard to clear the exam.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 4395 per year

Placement Experience

After completing this course, first of all I will do internship so that I can get a better job and I will get experience and after that I can take further steps in the field of art direction. Salary is highest in the field of art direction

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for Bachelor of Fine Arts in Aligarh Muslim University is Rs 4395 per year. If you live in a hostel then its charges are different. The hostel charges are Rs 6545 per year But the quality of food in hostel is very poor. If you are very careful about your health then you can rent a room outside the university campus but it can cost you dearly.

Campus Life

Events happen almost every week in Aligarh Muslim University campus. Aligarh Muslim University has a Maulana Azad Central Library and a seminar library in every department of each faculty of the university. Almost all the books related to the course will be available in the seminar library of your department. Apart from this, you can go to the central library to read other books, magazines and newspapers. Fine Arts Department has labrooms for practical classes and smart classrooms for lecture classes. The Fine Art Department has a Fine Art Club which is run by the students.

Admission

To take admission in bachelor of fine arts (BFA) in Aligarh Muslim University, a student must have passed at least 50% marks in intermediate from any recognized board. They do have placement criterias and TOS usually come for placement (their average is 6 LPA) . But in our batch (animation batch) none of us were required. So we got offers from smaller companies. And honestly, from my experience, the company I joined wasn't that worth it. So I went to pursue Masters and Joined NID But

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any).
