Review: Analyze & Accept

Courses curriculum and faculty are as per the demand of the Industry requirement of skills. *With the increasing demand for data and analytics, I choose this course, to make myself a step ahaead of the competition, and to bring something unique differentiator for companies. *The faculty and students ratio is quite good, taking into account all the in house faculty and visiting faculty the ratio is 1:12 *Faculties are highly qualified and with decades of industry experience at senior and top level positions, they bring their experiences as well as their connections and networks. Few visiting faculties are still in corporates at senior executive positions, coming to share their valuable knowledge.Few proffesors also follow theoretical way to teach. *There are three exams in an year, which Trimesters, the exams were mostly based on practical knowledge and rational thinking. Some were difficult and were focused on theoretical part.

Internship are provvided to the students, and is credited, companies like Accenture, Del, Red-Bull, Swiggy, ICICI etc come to campus, highest stipend is one lakh and minimum is unpaid, average to consider maybe arround 20k. Companies comes for different roles like strategy, marketing sales, finance, data analytics, Hr and operations. Projects are also allocated to every students as a part of course, in which students works under a company with a mentor alloted by college.

College provides a proper assistance for placements, all students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there, placements starts for summer internship one two months after entering the college, the procee is on till maximum of students gets placed. In and arround 50-80 companies visit campus for hiring and offers is made to every possible students eligible. Highest package stands at 18 lakhs and is between 10 to 11 lakhs. Nearly every students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there. Ambition and aspiration in my views changes as time proceeds, so I believe in short term goal making, though my plans post degree is to get placed in an MNC to kickstart my career from good position, where learning graph is very high.

Fees structure includes college fees and hostel lodging and fooding, which cummulative is near arround 18-19 lakhs. And every year a hike of 1 lakh has been seen in past per year. The college provides financial assistance to students coming from economically weaker section, the entire or partial fees gets waved off as per the marks scored in entrance exams, with regularly performing in college exams, with also keeing its background in consideration.

There is always some event being held in the college, being it cultural, sports, hackathon or academic.There is one annual fest that is organised in month of february or march. There are plenty of books and journals in the library, books from different genres, books for mba and books that is still required can be notified and will be brin in by college. Classroom is equipped with all basic amenities, for a students efficient working, all classes are equipped with four ACs, two projectors and other required amenities. Also there are three board rooms for formal meetings, reading areas and other spaces for students comfort. There are alot of extracurricular activites in college, like ethnic day, scribble day, without bag day, bollywood theme party etc. For academic hackathon, debate and quiz competitions. Groups and commitees like Rotract(welfare of society), placements council,management council(general mngmt.),Wenture Club(for funtion), Prakalp( for live projects), Social media Team,

Hostel facility is for first year students, facilities like bed, matress, almirah, combined wasroom with room for two people, laundry service. refrigerator, television, dining table, chair for studying and other basic neccesities. Meals are okay, better for students of south( not stereotype, but taste differs), but good for other students, college also has north Indian canteen for students. Registration for hostel is done at the same time with college, the forms comes after a student gets admitted into the college. The cost for the hostel is 150000 per year for lodging and breakfast, lunch and dinner is excluded in this, but mess is available to pay and have.

When it comes to eligibility & criteria, WeSchool does not follow any hardcore percentile criteria, rather it does complete profile and personality evaluation. Its basic criteria for percentile is 80+ in exams, then the most crucial part is GDPI, because Weschool, does a complete personality, the students get grilled here. It starts with filling complete pre-interview form to know the candidate better. Then the next process is Group Discussion following a Personal Interview, which is basically to know the candidate better, is the candidate willing to learn and what best the candidate is bringing to the table. At present the fee is 1400000 for both years. One thing that may be improved is making the form short & crisp, the form is way too long.

For group discussion the topic was from a case study, we were asked to discuss, the case, which was quite tough, because analysing a case and coming to a conclusion, in limited time frame was brainstorming process. Coming to interview, it was chill and was basically about myself, and question were in and arround my life, aspirations, and what I am looking for in future to learn and am I here to and grow or not? I prepared typically by myself, and online, and few guidance from senior and linkdin helped a lot in this process.
