What Students Say

Likes

Fees is very less compared to other colleges
You get a lot of free time, attendance issue is not there
Alumni network is great as the college was established in the year 1947

Dislikes

Campus life is not that good, exposure to other activities is not good
The labs are not upto the mark, majority systems do not work
On campus placements are not that great but hopefully it would be improving in the upcoming years

Course Curriculum Overview

Ai is the upcoming generation....some faculty members are very good while some are pathetic ....but ig that's a situation in most of the colleges ....there are 2 mid sems conducted in a time span of 1 month and the end sems are of decent difficulty...to get a decent score studying just before the exams is sufficient

Fees and Financial Aid

22000 fees....per year But you can apply for backward caste scholarships....and for general you can apply for mmvy 3 criteria for mmvy are 1)annual income less than 6 lakh 2)board percentage greater than 85 3)rank below 1.5 lakh in jee mains

Campus Life

Sports activities and other fest are not that good. Avahan is organised every year which is a sports fest.. This year dj night was also organised after avahan . Library are good you can issue 3 books at Max (general ) at a time Other than this campus life is not that good

Admission

We have to apply for mpdte counseling. there is a reservation quota for the madhya Pradesh state students and also for obcs, sc and st...if you have rank below 1.5 lakh in jee mains + more than 85% in boards you can even apply for mmvy scholarship.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.
