Likes

Faculty memebers which are very supportive and have good communication during the lectures.
Location of the college is very good as it is near to winter capital of himachal pradesh.
The quality of teaching is very good of civil branch.

Dislikes

The placement is very less of the students as there is less companies visiting our campus for the placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering because I believe infrastructure is the foundation of our civilization.The faculty members are well qualified and there is more than 100+ faculty members. The Mid semester test are take place for 2 times in a semester which helps the students to learn the syllabus parallely with the semester classes which is benficial for our final exams.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The average fees of the semester is 28000 rupees .There are many scholarship that are being offered by state as well as center govt. These scholarship are mostly on NSP portal and are offered to all category students. For the Jammu and kashmir students there is lot of benefits and they get PMSSS scholarship that is offered by center govt.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is very huge and all trades have their separate building. There is separate administrative block also. There are many socities and clubs which organise activities on time to time. Ther is also library which includes books of all branches. There is also a sports meet which is organised by HPTU every semester.

Admission

The admission process was simple as usual. The various rounds takes place for the admission in which we get our preference college and branch according to our marks in 12th Or in Jee mains exam. Total of 4 rounds takes place and spot round also takes place to fill the vacant seats.

JUIT- beautiful place

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements. Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs) 100 get between 5-10 lakhs And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs

7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

THE BEST COLLEGE AS OF MY DREAMS

Placement Experience:

after 6th semester the placements begins at NITH many Tech companies visit at NITH like Amazon , Flipcart, Paytm,samsung,oracle ,infosis etc.The highest palcement package is 1.73 crore in 2023 and average package is about 15 LPA about 80% of students got placed and also many of students opt for higher studies, i try to get placement if i get and not then go for higher studies

The real review of JUIT

Placement Experience:

Opportunities for placements are quite well. Before COVID lots of companies came for placements and post the number of companies was reduced. I want to join a company after getting my degree. I am not interested in higher studies.
