Remarks

I am in constant touch with the college teachers and the students and I get all the information of its excellence and improvements. I think it is always on the right track and making improvements in every field wherever it is required with time.

Entrance Preview

I got selected through the University based common entrance test. No interview was involved. This course was one of my priority list. We were shortlisted based on entrance test followed by interview. I developed interest in the field after joining the course and now I love it.My course was very interesting and it covered vast topics ranging from botany, agriculture, agri-economics, statistics, agri-engineering. We were involved with the Agri-industries (milk industries, ice-cream, sugar etc.) for six months to learn the processes going on there.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We were involved with the Agri-industries (milk industries, ice-cream, sugar etc.) for six months to learn the processes going on there. The course was too good that it maintained my passion with which I joined the course throughout the four years and also prompted me to go for higher studies instead of choosing job prospects. Yes, we had six months course that involved the practical experience of the things we learned theoretically. That was actually the best part of the training.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there was six months rural agriculture work experience program that was real fun. Yes, the course involved six months internship. That was a good experience to apply the theoretically known things in the field and then explore how they exactly work. I got 600 per month and travel and food was free. ....

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement was not the most preferred option after this course as most of the students opted to go for higher qualifications. Placement was 100% and there were many good options for placements. ...

College Events

3.5

Events We used to have lot of events, annual day, cultural festivals. We had two educational tours in four years course. One was within state and the other was in north Indian states to interact with the students and faculties of other colleges. That was wonderful experience. I was part of almost all the events happened during my college time....

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure: It was only 4000 INR per semester. It was not very expensive. Being Govt sponsored seat, it was not expensive. It was only 3200 INR every six months....

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship/loan No I didn’t take any scholarship or loan for my course.

Campus Life

3

College provided lot of opportunities to explore our talent beyond academics. I was involved in various extra curricular activities. I have won lot of college color awards and I was also the part of NCC and I enjoyed more being the president of the college students union...

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I was in the hostel and accommodation was too good. It was on sharing basis but rooms were very spacious. Food was good as students were running the mess and charges were just 400 INR per month. Yes, I was in the hostel and it was good. Two students had to share one room and in the final year we used to get one room with attached bathroom. Food was a problem for me initially being from different state and culture but slowly I started liking the food and still enjoy those dishes. ...

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we had many opportunities to interact with alumni. They used to visit college occasionally and give lectures especially at the time of new admissions (just to give a good feel to the fresher’s). Even all the alumni, as well as current students, have a strong bonding over social media and they help and guide each other in every possible way they can. Yes, the college invites the alumni in all the college events so that the students can interact with the alumni and get the required guidance and help.

Exam Structure

Yes, exams used to be very frequent but still we enjoyed the life with that busy schedule too Exams used to happen almost every month but the education system was too good that we were allowed to have lot of fun too.....

Faculty

Teachers were well experienced and very talented. They were very friendly. Even after 13 years, I still have good contact with many of them and they still guide and help me in every way possible. I would say those teachers have not only taught me the course but have also made me learn the life lessons. Teachers were very good and we had strong bond with them
