KIIT ACCURATE REVIEW

The college is good...but think again before choosing core branch in KIIT university...as there is no scope of placement if you are not different and unique and hard working....

Entrance is given through written exam called KIITEE.After qualifying(generally getting a rank below 40K) you have to participate in counselling and on the day of counselling you have to give a demand draft of Rs.75K(75000) in favour of KIIT UNIVERSITY which comprises of Rs.10K(10000) as counselling fees and rest is for your laptop and other things that will be provided to you on the day of reporting.

The course i choose is civil engineering and the syllabus is same that we have studied in class 11th and 12th but it little advanced only for 1st year students and from 2nd year they start giving us practical knowledge about our branch so the course becomes little vast and difficult but still it is intresting and innovating as you will learn new things.

No the college doesn't provides any internship to the student of any branch and any year....but yes the college helps the students in finding a good company for the internship.

The faculty is quite good and experienced...most of the faculties have completed their P.hd in their respective subjects.Classes are very interactive due to very small batch size as in Civil a batch contains maximum of 70 students and in other branches it contains maximum of 100 students.

Lots of events took place in kiit itself such as...spring fest,kiit fest,kiff,chimera,ximb,kritarth and many more...kiit provides you education with memories.

The fees is high as KIIT charges nearly 16 lakhs for 4 years including your hostel and mess fees.The fee excluding hostel and mess charges is 12 lakhs for 4 years or 3 lakhs per year.It is affordable because on the day of counselling many banks are ready to provide you loans in the campus itself.

Yes the college helps in getting loans directly from many banks within a fraction of seconds at a higher interest as compared to market....and yes the college also provides scholarships to the top 3 students of all the branches.....

A lot's of extracurricular activities take place in kiit university.....each provides each and everything to a student so that he/she can explore himself and do best in the field...he wanted to.

Hostel rooms are very good and the life inside hostel is very friendly and the food is also good but you may not like the chapatis here as they are made in army style.Yes PGs are also available but as far as i know you can only join a PG in second year.

The alumni network of KIIT is very strong and very active...as our founder sir...travels to many cities in india to meet our alumni and to get in touch with them.

KIIT is very serious about exams and practicals so you cannot chill at the end of the day. You have to work hard to score marks and then you can enjoy also.But according to my experience only study in class with 100 percent efficiency and then you are free to enjoy whole day but at night you have to complete your lab records and assignments.

The faculty is very good and most of them had completed their P.hd's in their respective subjects. On a personal note i believe that all faculties are good but there may be problems in communication if you are very poor in english as some of the faculties mostly speak english. But here teachers are very friendly and supportive and they are very helpful also. Here Professors gives extra time to students but you have to go and ask them.
