I like the wide and green fields of bcrec as a football fan I love it
There are many clubs , by which students can do extracurricular activities
I love how 1st year students get , a separate building for their 1st year classes

Dislikes

Sudden hike in fee structure is something I hated with my guts

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of how well it connects both electronics part and coding part , and I love the logic gate and circuit boards There's plenty of faculty , for each subject there are 3 teachers and for 4 students we have a mentor Qualification of the faculty is great too , PhD and mtech qualified only We are giving exams but the timing may get better in my opinion there are giving 1 month for 5 exams that's not great

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus jobs are average but fees structure is not good Fees hike is also something very bad for students ,there are many students they have to leave the course I'm taking svmcm scholarship and student credit card loan for my course

Campus Life

Campus if wide , and tech fest is coming up in next week but won't be able to enjoy as next month is end sem exam Books are free of cost as the library gives books for free per sem Classrooms are also well managed All types of sports are available ,like football , basketball, cricket , table tennis , volleyball etc There are too many group after I joined my college

Admission

Basically due to my rank of wbjee I got admission Wbjee has the facility to do seat reservation and there's multiple round to get admitted No I don't have any reservation The guidelines for wbjee wasn't there , then I would have opted for other high cutoff choices in first

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at IIT KGP is one of th e best among Engineering Colleges in India. With an average package of around 2200000 and overall placement percentage of around 80 (B.Tech+M.Tech). Students become eligible for placement either if they get PPO(Pre Placement Offer) from the company they are interning in in the 5th semester or when they are in the 7th semester when placement season begins. Around 1800 offers and 400 PPOs were made in phase 1 which includes 25 international offers. There were around 400 companies that visited. The highest offer was 21400000. Top profiles are Software, Data, Finance, Consulting, Quant and Core.

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. With making the foundation strong in first year with subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and then the core subjects in the later years. In terms of real life application, lab work, project work and projects make us ready for the industry. The syllabus is also alligned with the competitive exams like GATE.

Placement Experience:

Before the placements were good enough like both on-campus and off-campus. The college really tried hard each year for placement offers and as i have heard from the seniors, it was quite good. But in recent times, there are literally no placement offers and even the college has given up. TPO that should manage such oppurtunities are of no good and they are not even trying a bit to bring it some companies for the placement rounds. Now only if you are good enough and know enough to crack off-campus placements, then its good.

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

A brief overview of RKMGEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The structure of curriculum is not so great. Definitely there is a scope for improvement . We are under MAKAUT university and through job readiness perspective the structure of curriculum is below average. The placement in this college is good . In our department ( Food Technology) . The Faculties are trying to provide us 100% placement. As a result 70% students are already get placement. But being a girl it's little bit difficult to get a good placement because the industries mostly want male candidates so that they can do shift works .
