Entrance Preview

Firstly to get admission into this college you have to give a quick test ..so that they can see how capable you are for an engineering course. There is no interview as such.I am doing mechanical engineering from this college , people said that it is a good college and have some reputation among colleges thats why i went to this college

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was a good experience as a student of mechanical engineering. College gives its best to help the students but sometimes fails to do so. Practical learning is not as good as in reputed colleges but kinda medium level

Internships Opportunities

No, college dont provide any internship.you have to search outside for it. They provide some sort of coaching instead which you can join if interested

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is good for computer and IT students ..if you planning to take mechanical and civil..plz don't go. Average package for mechanical student is about 2.5 LPA and there are hardly 3 4 core companies

College Events

2.5

There is no fest at all. Dont come to this college if you want enjoyment. Small events do happen in college like cricket match, technical events etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other engineering colleges it is somewhat affordable...but they are increasing it in fixed period of time. College fee is about 55000/ for one semester

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont know about it much. But some concession are given to OBC and SC.

Campus Life

2

Sorry extracurricular activity in this college is almost nil. You dont get oppourtunity to show up your talent. Here you have to only struggle for it.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Boys hostel is inside the college boundary and girls hostel is some what 22 km away from college . No single room for single person. Sharing is done amoung students.

Exam Structure

Exams are tiring but labs are full of enjoyment. The bad thing about exams in this college is the new nonsense rules updated timely.

Faculty

3.5

Talking about college faculty they are hard working and friendly in nature . You can go to them any time you want for your problem. Almost all faculty have done their masters and selected according to there knowledge

Yes, the campus placements are provided. The students are eligible to do internships after six semester. The highest offered package is about 10,00,000 per annum, and the average package is 5,40,000 per annum. In my batch, all the students are placed. At present, I am doing internship at Honda Car India Limited and want to continue in this company at least for three years.

Placement Experience:

Here in KR Mangalam University, plcement opportunities start from the 6th semester. Many companies come to the campus for placements like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL, and a few startups too. Some students also get internships before placements. The highest package offered was around 36 LPA and the average package is between 7 to 9 LPA. Most students get placed especially those who have good coding and communication skills. The university also helps students for their interviews and written , aptitude tests through training programs such as boot camps and my more ideas. After completing my degree, I plan to either get a job through campus placement or prepare for higher studies like M.Tech or go for government exams depending on situations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure was very good, syllabus contains all the relevant thing you need to know if we one or two subjects. But what they teaches you will not get you a job, you need to do hardwork and it is same for almost all colleges. You can buy some fancy courses and can study from that.

Several companies come for the placement purpose which goes with interviews. As college has large strength so obviously its not necessary everyone will get the placement but they still try that no one will be left at least one should stand in 2 or 3 interviews plus my opinion is to also try outside waiting for the placement from college is okay but one should try outside my plans are to complete my course have one or two practice jobs then doing mtech .
