Good talks about AMU

I choose this course because I want to become a civil engineer and AMU provides best atmosphere for study. The faculty is excellent. We have six sections for B tech first year and for each section we have different teachers. All the teachers are well qualified . For exams, we have two mid semester exams in which best of the two is taken and one end semester exam. The level is good.

One can take internships in companies like Microsoft, Google based on their capabilities. Companies like L and T also provide opportunities for students to take opportunities for civil and mechanical engineering students.

Placements are okay. In diploma many of students from my college went to L and T, Asian paints, etc around 30 to 40 percent of students are given placement each year with rest of students getting off campus placements of getting in government jobs. For me, I am planning to go to Germany for masters Average package is I think around 5 lac

The fee is decent. A middle class family student gets all the opportunities at decent package. The various scholarships are being provided to students like NSP, state scholarships, and others from some Alumini students and scholarships based on merit too.

The place is good for co curricular activity. Fests like ZARF is celebrated in my college in march. One if the Asias largest library is there and we do have book banks from which we can issue books and read them for whole year at just 10 percent of the cost. The class rooms are well equipped with Projectors and computer which runns the projector. Clubs like Amu Robo club provide opportunities for us to be well known with robotics. This is just brief. There is a lot more which one can only feel by taking admission there

For hostels, we are being given a good ventilated room with cupboards and beds. A chair and study table is there for study. Electric fittings are okay. The lighting is decent. We are also provided with meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner at a very fair price of Rs 1400 per month. Reading room, common room, and other facilities are also there. We can also issue books from hostel reading room free of cost. Any one cam get the hostel if he/she is not living in the radius of 10 KM around the college. The registration is simple, just tick the option in admission form. Once selected , everyone is allotted the hostel and then after filling the form we are being given the rooms.

I was selected on the basis of topper seat in diploma in civil engineering. I did diploma there and I was the topper of my class and per year two out of 30 students who are toppers are directly given admission in btech in the branch they are persuing the btech
