Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course due to its contemporary curriculum aligning with industry demands. The program seamlessly integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing students for the dynamic field of CS-IT. The faculty-student ratio is commendable, ensuring personalized attention. The qualified faculty members, with advanced degrees and industry experience, bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom. Their interactive teaching methods foster a conducive learning environment, making complex concepts more accessible. The faculty's commitment to student success is evident in their approachability and willingness to assist outside of regular hours. Regular workshops and seminars supplement the curriculum, enhancing our understanding of real-world applications. Timely completion of the syllabus is a strong suit of the department. The structured timetable allows for an in-depth exploration of each topic while leaving room for practical projects and hands-on learning.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Renowned companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc., have visited, offering diverse profiles. The highest package touched [7lpa], and the average package was [1.2lpa]. Approximately [45-50]% of students secure placements, showcasing the college's commitment to students' employability. As for my plans, I aim to explore opportunities in web development after completing the degree. Excited about the prospects ahead!
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for my course is reasonable, but there's an understandable policy for periodic hikes. While the cost to study is affordable, the institution provides various opportunities for financial assistance, including scholarships. I haven't secured a campus job yet, being in my second year, but I'm eager to explore those options. The prospect of campus jobs with stipends is enticing, offering valuable work experience alongside studies. Looking forward to making the most of these opportunities.
Campus Life
Campus life here is vibrant! The annual fest, 'Trifest,' and the tech fest, 'TriThon,' add excitement in February and March. The library is well-stocked, offering a plethora of books and journals. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities for a conducive learning environment. Sports tournaments, like the recent cricket event, and various extracurricular activities keep the campus buzzing. The club 'Kartavya' exemplifies social responsibility, focusing on helping the less fortunate. Additionally, there's a student-run website connecting everyone. Overall, a great blend of academics and engaging activities makes campus life enriching!
Admission
I wanted to appreciate the easy and effective admission process for B.Tech in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS-IT) . The eligibility criteria were clear, the application process was user friendly, communication when crossing marks and as a result made the whole process go smoothly Reasonable application fees and information not hard on the day added to the positive experience. While I have not used the benefits of reservation, we point out the transparency of these policies. I suggest having more friendly approach . Overall it was a good experience.
Interview Experience
No, there weren't any Group Discussions, Interviews, or Written Tests during the admission process. The admission was based on academic merit and counseling sessions. The topics covered in the counseling session revolved around course details, campus life, and any specific queries. It was a straightforward and transparent process.
