Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I had a little inclination towards biology. The faculty: student ratio is good but it would be excellent if they would increase the number of teachers. The faculty members are highly qualified. They teach very nicely and interact well with the students. They are always ready to guide you and help in difficult situations. The college conducts it's always on time. The difficulty level of the exams are a little higher than average.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college charges a higher amount of fees than other government colleges. Our college also provides scholarships to students of economically weaker sections but not on the basis of merit. This college does not provide any kind of campus placement.

Campus Life

3.5

Every year our college conducts the annual fest in the period of January to February. Our university has a central library in which all types of books and journals are available. All classrooms are good and most of them are air conditioned. All types of sports and extra curricular activities are conducted in our college. There are no such social groups or clubs in our college.

Admission

There is no entrance exam for admission into this course, it is completely based on merit that is marks secured in 12th board exams. Students need to apply for this course and college through the SAMS website. This website is for admission of students into government colleges of Odisha for higher education. You can avail the reservation benefits if you belong to any of the reserved categories. Admission process is good and easy for students, the only improvement they can make is to make it a little faster.

This college has 8 semesters. From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements. In 7th,8th semesters different schools come for taking teachers. Usually, RIE students get 1st preference in all JNVs and KVs. Jnvs amd kvs have good contact with RIEs. 400000 per anum is the average and the highest goes to 600000. Generally there is 100% placement but much students prefer pursuing higher course by doing Msc.
