I like the weather and the campus life of IIT BHU.
We enjoy the kashiyatra fest and the sports meet.

Dislikes

I didn't like the food taste but the quality of food is so good and it is so hygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a great faculty, not only that we have plenty of staff that teach same course so that we can ask the doubts or concept explanation from them. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:7. They faculty are highly educated from different institutions all over the world like University of Cambridge, Oxford University etc.. The examination are not too tuff we can solve 30% of the paper and we have 4 exams yearly.

Class Size: 177Course Fees: INR 5135 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship which the companies provide are mostly about wep development, app development, machine learning. The companies which give internships are Microsoft and Amazon, swiggy, Wipro,TCS, etc.. Most of the internships help to get a good placement.

Placement Experience

The students who have no backlogs and with a cgpa of 8.0+ are eligible from 6th or 7th semester. The company's who hires the students are Wipro, Qualcomm, Amazon, Flipkart etc.. The highest placement is of 1.5cr per annum and average of 18 lpa and percentage students placed are about 90-95%.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hike for tution fee it will be same for a decade. It is about 106350 rupees for general students. We can apply for scholarship most of the state scholarships can be applied and the college will accept it. Most famous scholarship is named NSP.

Campus Life

Most famous annual fest is "kashiyatra". The most famous tech fest is "Technex". We have big library which has a reading room with wifi facilities. There are uncountable books in the library. We have sports fest named "spardha" and "interIIT". There are few clubs run by students named SAKHA, ECELL, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COUNCIL. etc..

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are upto the mark with good furniture and a bed, desk, cupboard. The is just good it won't taste good. The registration process is easy and it is affordable to every person it is about just 15000 rupees for 4 months.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

To get admission in an IIT we need to pass in the JEE ADVANCED examination. To write JEE ADVANCED we need to qualify in JEE MAINS examination. Yes we have reservations benifits few seats will be allocated to only the specific category people such that the unfilled seat can not be given to any of the student. No need to improve any admission process.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
