Faculty behaviour is too much good, they always teach us in a very good way
Campus is so much beautiful. A flower garden is present in college campus
A cantine is present with affordable food price

Dislikes

Lab fecility are not so good, further developments needed in this area.
Digital classroom facility is needed in department
Some of Books are too old, current edition should be available in the library

I have interest in Physics so I take admission in this department. One faculty is present for 30 students. All the teachers has atleast PhD degree two have post doctorate. Questions paper of end semester was not easy to pass

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

BSc course fees was affordable for me, and almost all government scholarship are available here, but one should have eligibility to become the beneficiary of scholarship. Directly no scholarship is given by college

Campus Life

A annual college fest occurs every year. Almost syllabus related good books are available in law library. Paper and magazine is also present in study room. A proper study room is also present. Cultural club is also present in college.

Admission

After passing any 10+2 exam from a recognised boad one can eligible for admission. On the basis of board exam marks, merit list is designed. In college website one can apply in portal for admission. Nearly 300 Rs is required to submit the form and last date was approximately in jully.

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

I love my college.

I applied at pravat kumar college at contai,purba Medinipur and get confirmed admission but the infrastructure of that institute is not so good but our college have a quiet impressive faculties and infrastructure. I was not rejected by any college I applied.
