I choose this course because I have interest in Statistics and I want to become a Data scientist. Faculty in my College is very good all the teaching and not teaching staff are very supportive and helpful.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9150 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Aligarh Muslim University is very less. And the quality of education is very good. In My Department, (i.e. Department of statistics and operations research, AMU) there is a scholarship test for first year students of both UG and PG courses.

Campus Life

Aligarh Muslim University have Asia's biggest library. There are lots of books available here. And the class room and class rooms and buildings are good. The campus of Aligarh Muslim University is spread over 467.6 hectares in the city of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The campus also maintains a cricket ground, Willingdon Pavilion, a synthetic hockey ground and a park, Gulastan-e-Syed.

Admission

Visit the University website amucontrollerexams. Candidate should then register online and provide his / her correct and functional email because the username and password etc. will be sent on this email. Candidates should register only once for applying to the multiple courses. After Registering candidate should login using his/her username and password. Dashboard of the candidate will be available to him/her for filling the form. The candidate should fill his/her Profile carefully. Click on Save option. After saving the Profile, the candidate will be asked to review and confirm that the particulars entered are correct. Candidate will not be able to Edit/Update his/her Profile after confirmation. If a candidate finds any mistake in his/her Profile after confirmation, then he/she will have to re-register with different Username and Password to complete all the entries afresh. According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges,and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

I learnt a lot from this college and from its surroundings as well ,very supportive and good college.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement after Bsc but there is placement after pursuing BCA ,BCom BBA from the same college,the average package is 3lpa ,the companies visited are asra foundation and tata etc . About 80% of students placed in different companies and all got in internships.

I applied to a few other universities along with Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), but AMU was my first preference due to its strong academic reputation, affordable fees, and well-structured curriculum.
