AMU- The best univesity

I chose this course because my interest was in semiconductor devices like diodes, BJTs, and MOSFET. I want to do a job in the VLSI domain. If I get a chance in IIT via GATE 2024 then, I will do an MTech in this field. In my final year batch, there are 20 faculty members and 60 students. So, one faculty is a mentor for 3 students. Most of faculty are professors, some are assistant professors. Their method of teaching is good. With the help of PowerPoint, smart board and whiteboard they are trying to clear the doubts of students. For a semester,midsem examinations take approx for 6 days while End semester examinations take about 14 -16 days to finish. Passing these exams is not difficult if we attend lectures from professors from the start of the semester and even we get a good percentage.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Analog company offered 27LPA which is the highest package. Only one student gets on-campus placement. My plan is to prepare for government jobs or do MTech from IIT after getting a Bachelor's degree.

I paid 20,000 rupees including hostel and college fees in the first year. While in 2nd ,3rd,4th year, I paid 7810 rupees including hostel( fees2000) and college fees(5810).I received a scholarship from the UP government every year. Topper students may get the benefits of an ONGC scholarship (50,000 rupees) every year.

Zarf Fest is conducted every year in September. Every kind of book is available in the library for GATE preparation and semester examinations. Most of the classrooms have ACs, projectors, and smart boards for teaching. There are many clubs like IEEE RAS, EDIC club, and Roboclub which are for motivating students to do some technical projects and work.

The hostel is very beautiful and good in condition and very good structure with all facilities and the students are very innovative. Rooms are very large and contain almirah, beds, study tables and chairs.

The BTech course is offered by passing the 12th class or diploma. The top 3 students with diplomas get direct admission to BTech Courses. Class 12th passout students offered this course by appearing in the Entrance examination of Aligarh Muslim University. I found the application form on the website of AMU and heard from my friends. I heard about Application fees and application dates from a website and my friends. He gave me the advice to take admission to this Central University instead of any state or private university. Fees were too low, so everyone was capable of paying. Internal students have some benefits as compared to external students. In my opinion admission process seems to be fine, no improvement is required.
