My college -My other home:)

My campus has become one of my favorite spots in my city:)I love being there. College teaches the pace of the world around and mine is no different.

You need to appear for AP EAMCET exam if you intend to enroll in AUCEW. Then,through counseling you need to opt the college and stream you are interested in. Based upon your rank and availability of seats, you will be alotted a seat. Note that the entire process is based upon merit. My college is pretty famous in vizag for the discipline and activeness of students. These traits encouraged me to opt my college.

The course curriculum is dynamic ,that is, it changes according to the changes in industry and I am really happy with that. Practical learning is always encouraged and supported by our lecturers. As I am a computer science student, I can tell you that you will be expected to write your own programs. You will be taught theory and lab should be handled with your own knowledge and application skills. Teachers will be there to support you. Electives are present from 3rd year. Every semester you have an elective. Apart from these we have MOOCS courses to be completed as part of curriculum from standard websites like NPTEL, COURSERA and others.

This year we had internship drive for Microsoft. 3 of our fellow students were selected for final interview. Apart from these many students are associated with NGOs like MAD, AASYA and others. Some work with internshala also.

At present, we have placement in common with autonomous block. Up-to now drive 1 for placement has completed and 17 members of our seniors were selected in various companies like factset, thought works, wipro, infosys and others. Highest package was 7.35 lakh per annum and least was 3.75.

Every department has at least one major technical fest per academic year. Apart from these there will be small fun fests every semester. I want to mention that the number of fun fests is pretty more for cse than other departments.

Since it is a government college, fee is affordable for everyone. It's 35000/- per year. Our college have several students with several merit based scholarships.

Our college doesn't provide any scholarships but encourages and provides information if any scholarship notice comes.

Ours is a college which is yet to be completely built. We only have 2 academic blocks, 2 laboratory blocks and a hostel. We have a small playground at present. Management is planning for a cafeteria and activity block next year.

Hostel block is completely built in 2017.So it would be open for people joining next year. There are several private hostels around and they are quite hygienic and affordable. There are curry points restaurant and stationary shops all around. The famous Shivani park is just beside our college. As a whole I can say that our college is mid point for all needs.

There would be alumni meet every year for 3 to 5 days. It is one of the grandest meets every year.

Exams and labs are flexible. Decisions regarding these are made after the consult of students only.

Our teachers are very much qualified. We have some guest faculty. Our permanent teaching staff consider of 3 PhD holders and others are scholars. Everyone is pretty interactive and helpful. Placement is pretty impressive.
