Remarks

It was fair in all. They need to improve a lot in many terms. Campus is also good and big. Campus of our college have space to park. Where we can also play. And hangout. They were awesome days.

Entrance Preview

CET was given to join engineering college. But got less marks in it. So went for the management quota. And got the admission. Zahir kazi the president of Anjuman Islam gave me the seat of extc upon filling the management quota fee. The 3.5 lakhs were really not affordable but had to pay as management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

By the end i was doing doing research and development. Then I joined most amazing themed job. Job was not provided by college. The electronic communications given by our college was not so good. But it wasn't so bad either. They had their pros and cons. Pros were that I made some friends with some good teachers. Cons were that I did not like some of them too.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship. Our college did not approve of doing any internship either. They did not appreciate the value of internships. We tried searching for internship on our own. And landed up with great opportunities. These internships did not provide any stipends.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement in our College was not so good. Only 20 percentage of my friends from extc were selected. Only TCS was the major company that came to our college. Average package was 2 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. Some small companies did came but their job position weren't relevant to our degree.

College Events

3.5

Fest were not so good. People were excited about i don't know what. Sports fest was awesome. But it wasn't that much. Other than that we had saree and tie day. And other competition like fashion show, robotics, DJ night etc, and also the award night which was quite good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was costly. I payed 4 lakhs in my engineering life and also 3.5 lakhs for donations by the management quota. The fee did not involve the cafeteria which was a major set back. Everything sold there was costly. The college did not provide some small things too. Like printing facility. We had to invest more than just our 4 lakhs. I had to invest almost 8 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

They did not provide any such scholarship. Since they did not provide we couldn't avail. They helped by providing us by returning us our 25 percentage of fees. Which would always be around 25000 and we had to run around in our college a lot for that.

Campus Life

2.5

They weren't so good. They only focussed on completion of syllabus. Faculties had this specific mind set of completion of syllabus. It was completely boring, only attend lectures every day and tge the practicals.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No, not much idea on hostels. The college dint had any such facilities for students.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network was good. Student helping students was a lot in our times. There was contribution in helping juniors. But no such alumini development of college was done.

Exam Structure

Chill culture. The exams were like normal exams and the labs were like normal too. It was 80:20 ratio. 80 marks on theory and 20 on practical which was good.

Faculty

3.5

Not much but they managed. The faculty had its pros and cons. Some were awesome and supportive and some were not. Teachers teach they way they want to. Some will have huge ego some will explain calmly. Some have their good method of teaching some will only draw on the board andd get over with it. It was a mixed faculty.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
