Remarks

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. There were many activities conducted. The college did provide with a lot of facilities. It was an amazing experience.

Entrance Preview

I had given the MH-CET in the year 2013. I had got 90/200. I got the admission in this college via the muslim minority quota. There wasn't any interview process. I chose the EXTC course because of the scope in the future and I had heard the faculty were quite good in that field.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course was good. I chose the ECE branch and it had a mixture of electronics and telecommunication engineering. Focus on practical learning was given based on the syllabus provided by Mumbai University. No there wasn't any research initiative taken. Elective options on subjects were there at the end of course.

Internships Opportunities

No the college didn't provide any internships. However since it was a good engineering college, by reference of the principal there were good internship opportunities available. Stipends were varying between 1k-2k

Placement Experience

3

The placement scenario wasn't much up to the mark. Around 30% students did get placed. TCS and Teradata were the only major companies which came up, however some mid-scale companies did turn up. The average package was around 2.5 lac.

College Events

5

Ambrosia was the festival name. It was a 3 day event. There were mostly cultural and technical festival which took place. There were many competitions held. The footfall was huge. People from different colleges did turn up. The college did provide a lot of help in setting up the event. Some bands also performed. There was a DJ night also which was a part of the festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was around 85000 for a year. Since it was a 4 year course, the total fees was around 3.6 lacs. It wasn't quite affordable but okay. The scholarships helped.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college did provide scholarships under the minority scholarship provided by both the state and central government. We received an amount of 25k every year. So in the 4 year course, we got back around 1lac through scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities were there like guest lectures from industry experts, workshop on coding, related subjects, one or two field trips did help us a lot to learn with fun.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes i was residing in th the hostel. The rooms were quite up to the mark. They provided sharing rooms to students, and it was a complete students only hostel with no PGs. The payment was around 40k for a year. The food quality was okay. They did provide some good facilities to the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni platform was not at all provided. However the senior helped the students a lot through social media and meetups. Specially for the project work there was a lot of help provided by our seniors.

Exam Structure

There were two unit tests conducted each of 20 marks and the final semester term exam. A lab session of 1 hour was conducted every day on a particular subject. It was a mixed culture with fun and studies.

Faculty

3.5

Some professors did their M.tech and some with PHD. The faculty were qualified as per the course standards. They had a good amount of experience in teaching. The professors were really interactive and guided us a lot. The standard of teaching was also very good.
