I was interested in the structural part of civil engineering that's why I chose this course . Faculties are very good , they explain all the concepts deeply and solve questions of students , the faculties who teach us are all phd completed even the TA's are the one who are persuing phd in the institute. Exams are neither very tough no very easy . They maintain a good level of questions .

There are a lot of intership opportunities , many students do intership from the 1st year itself . Generally students do internship from the 2nd or 3rd year .I know my one senior who got a project on designing a smart watch , drone etc.

For placements , students will be eligible from the 7th semester . Anyone can find the information regaring companies visited and offers given on the official website of our college . The highest package for this year is 82.05 LPA and average package is 23.09 LPA.

The cost for your BTech is 1.95 lakh. Like other IITs , they also provide scholarships , to check the eligibility for a scholarship, you can check it via the link they provide in the mail sent to you on your institute ID. Stipends for jobs are all different and depend on the student's knowledge and hard work.

The annual fest of IIT Patna is Anwesha (February) , Tech fest - Celesta (November) . Availabilityof books is good and also there is one library construction is also going on . Amenities- AC , smart tv , enough space , well cleaned . You will get almost all the sports facilities and coach are also friendly. There are instagram handles of each club of college and anyone can get all the updates by following them.

The mess food is good but there is one problem that they don't follow the schedule of the dishes , for registration process there is registration office you can easily find it . To rent a room or pg you have to go to the nearest city which is 2 km away from campus.

Admission process is good , you can easily find the administration office and the staff is also cooperative , the eligibility of course is that you have to qualify JEE ADV and should be able to maintain a required rank for the course . You will receive all the mails regarding application from the institute with the SOP so you can easily complete your application . Reservation provide benefit of less fees and you will also get a particular course even if your JEE rank don't match the required general rank .
