I liked most the nature of our seniors like they are very supportive and helps us in every event and academics also
The second best thing is the culture of the college. It is very enthusiastic culture and we can get many opportunities in each field.
In spite of the academics I liked the location of the college as it is in the center of the city.

Dislikes

The arrangements of our mess is not good as we have to be in rows for ten to twenty minutes
There is very less support from the teachers for the fests and any programs
The security is more than it is needed. As none of the relatives can enter the college and also they do not allow any brother other than blood brother.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course not by myself but I needed this college as it is so near and easily approachable from my house. Faculties are good enough. Students ratio is about 70:30 all of our faculties are must to have a PhD degree. There was a mid term examination in September and end term examination in November-december in our first sem. There exams were slightly moderate to tough.

Internships Opportunities

There are companies like Deloitte provides the opportunities for internships. As I am in the first year I know a little about the internships and placements but according to seniors it is necessary to take an internship.

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester the students becomes eligible to get pre placement offers. Last year the highest package offered in campus was around 64 lpa and average was 13.40 lpa. The percentage placements is about 70 percentage. I am also planning to get an IT job after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee is 114000 for each sem in this 63500 Is tution fee 32000 is hostel fee and also about 19500 is institute fee. Thats a normal fees compared to other btech colleges. I got full remmison in fee due to my income being less then one lakh.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest is blitzschlag (in Feb) and the tech fest (in nov). There are about 1.5 lakh book available in our Library including soft and hard copies. The classrooms are very good as there is the largest lecture theatre complex of Asia is present. All classrooms are air conditioned. We have a cricket and a football ground in our campus. Other sports facilities are also very good. We can get sports equipments from the sports complex. We have 31 registered clubs in our college. There is a robotics club called Zine present in our college that works on making and learning robotics. Think India, Marvericks, level-X, MC -square are the main club's of our college.

Hostel Facilities

For the first yearites we have got 3 seater rooms the room size is very big and enough for 3 persons. The mess meal is also very good but their services and arrangements are not that much good as we have to be in the rows for 10-20 minutes. Registration process is so easy as it is online. The location of the college is very good in the centre of the city.

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

Admission

The addmission is based on the jee main ranks and also there must be a minimum 75 percentage in class 12th or equivalent reservation is as usual. I think there should not be the criteria of 50 percent reservation of home state quota due to this the learning in college becomes less.

Placement Experience:

The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. Adventurous Journey

MNIT is among the best NITs of Northern India further it possesses a highly strong mechanical in civil departments which is regarded to be the strongest one after IIT Roorkee in Northern India to be admitted into MNIT you need to clear JEE Mains examination with a minimum 97% tile for the general category further than you need to apply for JOSAA and C-SAB consuelling to admit into MNIT. I have also taken admission in NIT Allahabad mechanical engineering but I wasn't able to get it since that closed 1000 above my rank, it is mentioned that they have a very good mechanical department as well. I applied for this based on nirf rankings and actually I was wishing to get this college, I was trying for nit Rourkela, nit Trichy but because of my ranking i wasn't able to get a seat in those colleges and as in my choice filling after those 2 colleges , I had filled mnit Jaipur as 3rd preference and my rank was good enough to secure a seat in this college Admission process is to write jee barch exam and apply for josaa counselling by filling your choices and wait for rounds to get your seat , once you get any seat in choices you'll be allowed to accept that seat or freeze that seat and move to next round for better college in your choices...Read More
