Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum is nice up-to-date but teachers are some are very nice eager to teach but some, like anyother government college. I choose this course due to my not so good rank and I don't have knowledge at that time what is important so now I think you should give priority to branch than college because you should have some interest in the subject you will be going to study. Faculties are very qualified they have many researches but that doesn't mean they are good teachers. College takes term exam timely and they are often easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3

College provide intership opportunities in third year for btech and 4 th year for Barch I think. These opportunities are provided but you can go on your own if you have what it takes. Interships and placement are not that good how people think they are

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are provided by government but they are harder to get due to lot of government documents and reserved categories (sc/st) don't have to paid their tution fees.As I am studying in college for two years I haven't listen about fee hike but if it happens we are informed by college management. They listens to students, but you have to study on your own nobody gonna support or teachers like jee teachers here they can guide you according to their knowledge sometimes you will feel I am studying whole subject from YouTube because proff don't teach good.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is nice it's a beautiful and very big campus in city center near GT mall and WTP,so you can enjoy outside also if you want.books and journals all are in present in library, I have gone there once but I think I have never gone second time. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and air conditioned. College have enough sports facilities to you to enjoy and practice for competition and gym is also there to keep your body fit. We have lot of clubs but only two or three clubs organise some meetings on weekly basis otherwise all are not do clubs. We have one techfest(sphinx) and cultural fest(blitz) you can search them on Instagram they happen every year and so much fun happen on those days. Beautiful ???? students and many other things. On evey evening of those days pro nights are organised in which good singers and DG are invited.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Room has table, almirah, chair and a bed which I use most for sleeping. About mess it's like sometime good sometimes shit. Vary according to hostels there I think 9 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. Hostels are affordable because you got very high speed wifi and silent room and good campus and mess is also ok if you compare with outside campus rates it's far better.

Admission

Admission in my college is taken based on jee mains rank, By scoring good marks in jee mains after that you have to fill josaa counselling set your priorities of college and after this process you are selected in one of your selected college in josaa and then registration process happens in college offline, every college mail you about this process in which you are selected. For reservation you can make your certificates and submit on site of jee main exam registration during form submission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

The curriculum here is inspired from IIT Kanpur and IIIT Hyderabad but most of the courses aree not relevant today like in today's world C language is outdated but they always teach everything in C and in ECE branch the courses are considered to be the toughest and maximize of them are not relevant today.

Placements at MIT are excellent and begin in the seventh semester. Our college attracts top tier companies and for the 2024 graduating batch. Major recruiters included Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, and Samsung. The placement statistics are very strong with the highest package being 52.28 lakhs per annum, the average package Being 14.5 lakhs per annum with over 95 percentage of students participating in the placement process My personal plan after getting my degree to join a leading tech firm as a software development engineer, I want to gain a few years of industry experience to apply the practical skills. I've learnt that before deciding on further specialisation or higher studies.
