About my college

The college has good infrastructure and all the facilities provided are very nice. There is no ragging and the seniors are very friendly. The hostels are okay and the mess food is good.

The admission process is very simple. There is no interview process. The only entrance exam to my college is the Joint Entrance Exam also known as the JEE mains. I wrote this Exam and got a rank of around 34,000 and got a seat here. I was interested in doing my engineering in any of the NIT and I applied for the counselling held by JoSAA .

The course curriculum is designed in such a way so as to make us prepared for the real world problems. It is very nice and don’t lay any burden on the students. There are many workshops conducted and are mandatory to all the first year students. We also have to choose some additional subjects in addition to the regular courses.

Yes my college offers intern ship facilities for us but the eligibility criteria is that the student must have completed the 3rd year of his studies. It is a very good opportunity to prove ourselves and we also get an exposure of the real world scenario.

My institution is best for placements. Every year more than 20 plus companies come here for placement. Almost 75 percent of the students gets placed. Companies like TCS, Tech mahindra, Wipro, Samsung,Sony, Deloitte,Etc coep for placement. the average placement package is around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum.

The tuition fee for my institute is very similar to all the other NIT’s and the tuition fee is nearly 75,000 and the hostel and mess fee is nearly about 70,000 rupees. So the total cost will be 1,45,000 rupees. The fee is affordable and it is worthy of paying it because it is paving a way for your bright future.

The student to faculty ratio is 50:1 and there is a good interactive sessions in between students and faculty. Also their standards of teaching are good. Since this a government institution the faculty will be taken care by the government itself. Also they are ready to help us at any time of the day. They help us in doing our projects and also guide in doing research work.
