Course Curriculum Overview

Mnit have well qualified faculties,all of them are phd holders and have many years of experience in their fields. The faculty student ratio is 1:100 on average the class is divided into 4 sections for lab and tutorial purposes. there are two examinations per semester:mid term and end term

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

excellent internship opportunites are available for every year student. the training and placement cell is very active and provides opportunites for internships throughout the year.internships before the final placement are compulsary for the students.

Placement Experience

students are eligile for placements in the 8th semester.More than 200 companies visited the campus in the year 2022 prominent ones are adobe, apple ,tata,mahindra. the highest package was 62.75 lakhs(electronics engineering) and average package was 13.2 lakh per annum. the placement percentage was 90.29% for electrical engineering (highest) and 59.62% for civil(lowest).

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee depends on category of the student.for general and OBC the fee depend on their income and for SC/ST category course fee is 15300 rupees regardless of their income category, lot of scholarships are available for needy students based on their category and income.

Campus Life

the campus is green and quite big with an area of over 300 acres. fests: blitzschlag(cultural fest) sphinx(tech fest) apart from that various sports fest like MST ,Inter NIT also happen. excellent sports facilities are available for sports enthusiasts

Admission

The admission in btech courses is given on the basis of rank acquired in Joint Enterance examination (JEE) Mains conducted by the national tesing agency(NTA).you have to apply for the exam as NTA opens the application window. The application form can be found on official website of NTA,The application fees depends on the category of the student,for general category student it was 1000 rupees. for admission to NITs one have to apply for jossa (joint seat allocation authority) counselling process and choose your preferences(colleges and braches) after that jossa announces results in 6 rounds if you do not get desired college or branch you can also try the CSAB counselling which happens after JOSSA counselling. if you get your desired course then you need to pay seat acceptance fee to confirm your seat.(admission process is not complete still it is provisional) The further instructions for admission is given by the respective colleges.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Practical Tech Education with a Tight-Kint Community Feel

Likes

I like my hostel, accommodation is very nice
mess food is very tasty , scrumptious and homelike
the college is surrounded by greenery and breath taking nature!

Dislikes

The scorching desert heatwaves in the summer and chilling winter smog make walking across the vast, vehicle-free campus exhausting for a big chunk of the academic year.
Mandatory interdisciplinary projects and strict attendance policies leave little breathing room for students wanting to focus strictly on self-driven coding, competitive exams or independent side projects.
The campus is situated far off the highway in the industrial backdrop of Neemrana, there is virtually no social or city life right outside the gates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is industr-aligned with strong project-based learing and a mandatory final-year internship. Exams feature well-placed mid and end terms, though early theory subjects need more practical coding.

MY IMPRESSIONS ON THE UNIVERSITY OF FUTURE

Likes

The thing I liked the most is the nature around/in the campus.
The various options for sports and other outdoor activities.
The EAT system, which is better and healthier option for ACs.

Dislikes

A few meals on the mess menu are not that good.
Lack of normal-temperature water options.

Placement Experience:

NIIT UNIVERSITY placements rates are 100% and more important is that role fitment rate is also 100%. NIIT UNIVERSITY placements starts from 7th semister with Industry practice(IP). Many big companies come for the placements.

UNI OF FUTURE

Likes

Exposure via many known guests and personalities and experts of various fees that interact and share their opinion regarding many things with students.
Many clubs like shooting ,football,chess that are taken seriously here along with facilities for each of these sports
Opportunity to become volunteer for various fests organizing groups.

Dislikes

Water here is harsh in hostel, which causes a bit of hair fall.
Except for rooms and academic blocks heat during afternoon times is great if there are no clouds sometimes. Rest of times due to many trees its cool.
Strict gatepass system which ensures security of students but at same time troublesome for those who just wanna roam .

Placement Experience:

There are many exceptions here regarding placements and employbility. For interships students mainly start from their 3rd year but i know one student which is my senior that got an intership in their second year only since they had specific skills and colledge helped developing thier leadership quality and getting them the job

The campus placements is very good and the head of placement department Dr Abhishek meel sir provide training to students about interview and how to make cv and resume for good industrial approach. The average package is 5 lpa to 8 lpa from tge campus placements program

Journey in Few Words

Likes

The place is not only promoting studies they are also promoting the Talent by organising various events where they learn and develop other skills.
The Girls to Boy ration is good - 40:60.
The campus is also fine not very premium not very bad. If you're a good place in budget constraints you can opt for this.

Dislikes

They are little focused more towards money. for example when there is attendance less than 75% still if Student pay the fees they allow him to sit in exam.
Teachers can be more better. My experience with the staff is not very amazing. A lot of time i corrected some the teachers for certain topics

Placement Experience:

- Here the placements starts in the beginning of the 4 year. Campus placements are offered and it's not bad. Even we'll get some internship opportunities in 4 year before college ends - In my year the highest package is 14LPA in Mahindra

I like my college dress structure their no any boundation
Compus of my college is good and also structure

Dislikes

Girl over boy ratio is very less which also put impact on interaction with another gender
Teaching techniques of over faculty in my college the just scroll the pdf and tell about topics
Result delay is very common problem in my college

Placement Experience:

Form 5 th semester students become eligible for compus placement. Tcs , wipro ,infosys, jk cement, wonder cement these companies visited and they provide average package 4 to 5 lack per year. Through past record highest package is around 33 lack and average package 4 to 5 lack per year Minimum percentage for Good company is 7 cgpa . My plan after getting The degree is i go for masters in technology

Likes

College infrastructure is very good as compared to other colleges

Classes are very great and seats are very comfortable

Overall the campus is good but is very small in size
Less events as compared to other colleges
Focuses on marks rather then practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

An overview of MNIT

Likes

Being a Government national college, the diversity is very vast and it helps us understand about the different communities and cultures.
The college provides very educated professors who help you achieve your passion and enhance your vision. They provide information regarding the books you could refer which usually doesn’t happen in other colleges or universities.
The college assigns a group of 10 students to a particular mentor who guides you not only through technical vision but also in the mental health of the student.

Dislikes

Being a south indian, I wasn’t fluent in hindi. This made a hinderence to my study life. But the professors started explaining each class in english later on after my request
The less number of placements could be an issue
The end time for girls is 10pm which is according to me a decent timing. But I think they should atleast let the parcels come past the college main gate after 10. Because the boys can collect it from there but the girls cannot.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements provided by the college. Students shall be adopting for placements in their final years. The visited companies are Apple, JP Morgan, Meesho, DE Shaw, Salesforce, Adobe, Airtel, Amazon, Bajaj motors and so on. Highest salary id 64LPA, average is 18.39LPA for the CSE branch. The overall percentage of students getting placed is 82% for both BTech and BArch with an average package of 13.2LPA. I shall be trying to get placed.

Affordable price for B. Tech courses in city
Support of the sinears in the college in notes and study
Environ of the college is very good and clear

Dislikes

College building which to old and second floor always leaking in rainy days.
Teachers of second year are not interested in teaching subjects.
Wifi of the college never works even it can't run WhatsApp

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in textile department because college is known for textile best college in Rajasthan that's why IT ,CSE ,ME,ECE are not getting that much pakage but recieves 4 lakhs average and if sumone not get job they can try of campus mostly try of campus.

Highly recommended

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. The people from outside were required to give some other exam. I don't have adequate knowledge of their procedure like what exam and cutoff....Read More

My first priority was to get mechanical engineering in NITK Suratkal, but i couldn't get a seat there as i didn't clear it's cutoff. I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me.
