A very delightful experience.

The good thing about the college is that it has some wonderful teachers. And the culture of the college is elite. The bad thing about the college is also some teachers, which think about themselves only. And also the placements in the college disappointed me a lot. My overall experience in the college is on scale of 1-10 a solid 7.

I got admission via JEE-MAINS. I secured 85/360. I got it via Muslim minority. There was no interview process as such. I chose the course because of my passion for electronics.

The best course for me. Electronics was the subject I studied in my Junior College, and the same thing enhanced was the curriculum for my degree. The practicals are fun only of you understand the subject well. It's not upto the institute to provide any research facilities. It is upto the passion of the student to research on the subject more. The institute did provide with all the amenities required though.

The college is having troubles in providing such things to the students. So if you take up the admission thinking you'll at least get an internship, you're very much wrong. The college doesn't provide internships at all.

The placement cell in our college is quite under scrutiny. They aren't providing the students with placement assistance as they did a couple of years ago. Only two companies came last year, TCS and TeraData. Apart from that only sales companies came, that too for engineering students, who have no idea about sales. The average package was around 3 lac p.a.

Being from the EBC category, my fees was nothing as compared to other students. I had to pay only a mere 5000/- for each year. The other students had to pay around 1 lac for the same. So for me, yes it was quite affordable.

There are two scholarships available for students, one for the Muslim minority and the other for the OBC minority. The Muslim minority got around 25k per year, while the OBC minority got half of the tuition fees per year.

Yes, I resided in a hostel provided by the college. There were sharing rooms for everyone. I paid around 80000/- for a year, including food. The food was very nice on weekends, but on weekdays the food was average.

There are about two unit tests, one main practical test and one board semester. All these things is a matter of 6 months. On top of that, the assignments they gave were enormous. And given compulsory attendance, it was the most tiring thing to go home to.

The teaching level is good. The teachers know what they teach apart from some as they are given subjects they didn't know much about to teach. But apart from that the practical learning as well as theoretical learning was very good. I learned a lot from the teachers. The standard of teaching is fine enough.
