Remarks

Bad remarks: Space and infrastructure. But that should not matter much, other facilities like boys common room, girls common room are provided. Library facilities are good. Parking is provided in the campus free of cost. Security is good. Arrangement for lost and found service.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for CET. Based on CET score and 12th standard result I got admission under Muslim Minority Quota. I choosed to do EXTC as from my 8th standard I had a passion for Electronics. Telecommunications fascinate me all the more.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was upto my expectations. There was a good focus on practical learning, which was enhanced through projects. No direct research initiatives in the curriculum, but the falculty encourages and provides support towards research and development. Electives: Data cryptograpy and Encryption, Speech Processing, VLSI, Telecommunication Management.

Internships Opportunities

No direct internships are available in the college. But for those who are willing to do internship, an official permission from the college is granted.

Placement Experience

Placements were bad this year because of upheaval in the market. About 40% students got placed. Average package around 3.5 Lakh p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was fairly affordable. Fees was around 1 lakh each year(four years in total). A few fluctuations are made each year, but overall not many changes.

Campus Life

It is one of the best college ib extracirrucular. Yes good opportunities and facilities provided.

No hostel experience.

Alumni/Alumna

Not much, but yes to an extent.

Exam Structure

Not frequently tired, but yes, during the end of the semester it used to become a little hectic.

Faculty

Faculty is qualified (Masters and few PHD) and fairly good experience. They are pretty interactive. They are hardworking and try their best to maintain the standard of teaching. Teachers are motivated and enthusiastic.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
