i opted b.tech computer science because i am a coding enthusiast. and for better placement with a decent packages of approximately 1500000 per annum. there is no co-education, no girls are there. all the faculties are supportive and good at teaching.

Class Size: 230Course Fees: INR 109850 per year

Internships Opportunities

companies that offers for internship are wipro , tcs , bharat intern , microsoft , etc. and provides a stipend of approx. 3000- 8000 depending upon various durations like , 6 months, 2 months, etc.

Placement Experience

after 6th semester examination you will be eligible for campus placements. approximately 200 companies visited every year. average package is 400000 per annum . Approx. 70% students from CSE are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees structure for 1st year is 109850 and ssame for remaining years. total cost to study is approx. 450000 for 4 years and scholarship not provided by college , you can apply for National scholarship Program.

Campus Life

The annual & tech fest organised here is jnanagni. Here all books related to particular course is available. Extra curricular activities are organised every time. there are some clubs like GDSC, Communicode, etc.

Hostel Facilities

hostels are provided for every 1st year student but for 2nd year you have to score better in semester examinations. hostel facilities like RO, Water cooler, Fan, Light, Food, etc are provided to students.

my college took admission on the basis of jee mains score. cut off rank for cse is 50000 for general category. minimum eligibility for the course is 65% in 10th and 65% in 12th from CBSE board. Application process starts after josaa counselling.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
