My college experience is very good

I have always had good experience in the college. My overall experience is the best .

I wrote KCET entrance exam. I wanted this college since this is the only college for women in Karnataka. My course is Electronics and instrumentation. Since it has a lot of scope abroad, I chose this course.

The course I chose is very good. It is a combination of electronics, electrical, robotics, automation,biomedical and many more. The electives I chose were biomedical DSP, robotics and Arm Processor.

The college provides us with a wide range of internships and workshops. It is very useful to us since we get exposed to the current technologies and technical aspects required to get placed. We did not get any stipend amount.

The placement is a big plus point for the college. Almost 60% of the students get placed every year. Some of the major companies are SAP, Infosys, Wipro, Thought Works, Tech Mahindra and many more. The average package is about 5lakhs

The major technical and cultural fest in our campus is the Geetayana which takes place for 3 days. Apart from that many other technical activities takes place in the campus. Large number of students participate in these activities.

It is quite affordable. For CET students it is 54,000. For management it depends on the course, and moreover there is no donation taken.

Yes the college provides scholarship. No I did not avail any scholarship.

The college provides an average support in terms of extracurriculars. But the faculties support us and encourage us to explore our talents.

Yes I was staying in the hostel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Usually 3 of them share the room. We pay 60,000 per year including food which is affordable. The food is quite good.

We have a good interaction with the alumni. The college provides the best platform for student-alumni interaction. The alumni contributed to the overall development of the college and the students.

Exams are usually tiring. But labs are good. We have 2 labs in one semester which makes us feel relaxed apart from the subjects.

Most of the faculties are PhD or are currently pursuing PhD. So the teaching is upto the mark. The faculties are very interactive. They provide real life examples most of the time which is easy to understand. Since most of the doubts cannot be cleared in the class, they are always ready to clear our doubts during free hours.
