Remarks

College structural Camus is so well built, well maintained. Rather say it's a mesmerizing one, the only thing I'll suggest is the Camus coordinators need to work more in increasing the interior & the real wealth of the college which are the laboratories and the equipment and placements The college has an astonishing infrastructure. The campus is mammoth. Studious crowd, Skilled teachers & the Helpful staff strives in attaining the college high bars.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for the JEE MAINS entrance exam. Landed up here via recommendation. There wasn't any interview process. The admissions were done according the merit i.e. the cap round process. I followed the same process. Chemistry is the field of high interest for me. I like being chased by the reactions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course I chose is pretty good as was assumed & discussed with the people. I noticed a thing that we as a chemical engineering students need to have the practical experience & skills along with the academics. And the syllabus focus on it as well. But even if more practical learning was given we'd have done that with joy. Yes the senior faculty from the chemical department is working on a chemical industry related project which will be concluded shortly.

Internships Opportunities

College didn't provide us the internship, we had it on our own in a chemical industry nearby. The experience was highly knowledgeable. No stipend was provided add it was for learning purpose.

Placement Experience

3

Placement scenario of our branch is increasing with the passing year & we hope that till the passing year of our batch we would be placed with good companies. Overall i don't know the exact figures about the placed percent. The major recruiters in the campus are Tech-Mahindra, TCS Japan, Godrej and many. Average package is around 4.5 lakhs.

College Events

4.5

Technical & cultural events plays a very crucial role in the campus. Technical events are organised at the institute level every year, which are having the open entries. Cultural events are the major events in college in the year. Many a times celebrities are invited to enlighten the program. Event is huge . Crowd gathered is around 2.5-3K.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The institute is quite affordable relatively. Without the compromise in the quality & standard of education. The fees are around 80K annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college didn't provide any additional scholarship. I don't avail any.

Campus Life

5

The performance of college in terms of extra curricular activities is so good. Many among us have participated in the campus as well as off-campus technical events & have won the prizes too. We get enough opportunities to explore our talent. Technical events are scheduled regularly.

Hostel Facilities

3

No I didn't reside in hostel. Because the fees were quite high, which was not that feasible to pay. It was around 1 lakhs. As I had followup of the hostel students. I came up with the info that the rooms are on sharing, one room accommodates 2-3 members. The quality of food was not that bad. I mean which is edible & surely good.

Alumni/Alumna

College have good alumni network but have never let us interact with them through any platform. We are having it on our own. There are Some of our degree holder friends, with whom we find time to discuss there experiments & the success in professional world. Yes they surely contribute in the overall development of college & students.

Exam Structure

Labs were frequent, but that never bothered us at all, rather say we enjoyed learning everything practically. The exams can be said a lil frequent but not that much which will cause trouble. The exams aren't chill cultured but not so cut-throat.

Faculty

4

Well qualified faculty, experienced teaching by experienced faculties. Some are newly arrived master graduates but with high skills & precision in teaching. Minimum qualification required is Master Graduation. Fully interactive, good at sharing knowledge & experience. The teaching standard is not at all compromised, it is going best with the passing days.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
