Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose Bachelor's degree because I was interested in engineering. There are many faculties for each subject. Students can easily contact with their respective teachers. Each teachers have minimum 5-6 years of experience. There are mid term exams in every 1-2 months and one end semester exam in 6 months.

Internships Opportunities

2

Not so many companies come here for internship process. Mostly The student has to gets internship on his own. But at the placement process there are some good companies which come to select the candidate.

Placement Experience

3

In JEC, students become eligible for placements in the 4th year OR after completing graduation. Many companies come here for placements and give offers. Every year at least 80% of the students are placed from here. The highest package is of 10LPA and average package is about 4LPA. Companies like Infosys, reliance, tech Mahindra visited here in past years for placement. I want to get placement in some company after getting this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college, the fees are very less (25k/yr) as compared to other engineering colleges and along with it you also get many scholarships like Medhavi Chatravrati or many other scholarships too. U can get Placement here easily of about 3-5LPA but after completing graduation.

Campus Life

3

JEC campus is very large of about 250 acres. Every year there is one tech fails in our college named Avahan. There is a library in the college where you will get all types of books and you can also study there because it is very peaceful. Also there are many classrooms in each department. Our classes are very big in size and also very clean. There is a sports department in which we can play many games like Cricket, Football, Basketball etc.

Admission

To take admission in JEC you have to give an exam name JEE mains. After qualifying it you have do a registration in DTE MP for councelling process of college. After that the college will get alloted to you on the basis of your JEE percentile. After that you have to visit the college on councelling date for admission process. There again on the basis of your JEE percentile you can choose your branch and then the admission process is done (in choosing branch there is a reservation benefit for SC/ST caste students, they gets first priority in choosing their branch and then OBC gets chance and then General).

Interview Experience

3

No, I took admission in CLC round (College Level Councelling) in which I haven't faced any GD or Anything. I just like the normal councelling round firstly the empty Seats were give to SC/ST students then the Seats were give on the basis the of merit list of JEE mains if the seats still remains after all JEE students then the seat will be given on the basis of Class 12 percentage it means if any person haven't appeared for JEE he/she can get admission through his class 12 percentage result but the main thing is the seat should remain empty

Night Life

2

There are many Cafes restaurants and PG near college. There is only one libarary in the college which is opened on as same timing of the college. There is a hostel in Jec but it is first served to SC/ST students and then others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
