About My college NIT Jamshedpur

Electrical engineering involves circuital things and is quite a good domain.Even being in electrical engineering you can switch to IT sectors job.Number of facilities are very good.Around 5 professors are assigned for each semester.Teaching style of some professors are not so good but overall it's satisfactory. Their is two exams in each semester one is mid sem and another is end semester.Mid semester happen after two months of the semester beginning and end semester after one month of end semester.

Their is a six month internship and a summer internship for students. Last year 177 students get summer internship and 458 students get six month internship. Company like amazon, delhivery,Tata,exl,Adobe come here for internship

Fourth year student are eligible for placement.Very good number of company visit for placement.like in last year around 200+ company visited for on campus placement and average placement was around 15 lakh with a placement percentage of 96% From electrical branch their was 100% placement with average package of 1700000. Highest package was 82 lakhs

Tuition fee is 60000 and hostel and mess fee is 33000.Some other charges are also their like one time fee which is 10000 and annual fees which is 5000. Scholarship is given to students having less income.Students having income less than 100000 get their full tuition fee remitted and students having income between 100000 and 500000 gets 2/3 fee remitted.SC/ST students gets full fee remitted

Overall college life in nit jamshedpur is good .Many fest happen time to time. Like we have sports fest named urja whigh happen in months of november cultural fest culfest which happens in months of February and March. Their is a library also which is not as big as it should be.But it have all thr important books. Sports and extra curricular activities happen and have fest for them. Their are many clubs like peacon,focus,LDS,horizon,Revanta, Phonix

In first year for boys you will get double sharing room and for girls it's three sharing room. From second year for boys you will get single sharing room but for girls it's three sharing room only. In mess you get four meal a day in all days except Sunday.In Sunday we don't have snacks. Registration of hostel is done on the day of admission only.

Admission is done on the basics of jee mains score.And exam of jee mains is done by NTA in months around January and February.SC/ST and OBC have reservations benefit and get admission with low marks in comparison to general students.
