Remarks

The management is good. All the exams, workshops and fests are organised in a good manner. They take you to excursions, army camps and tours as well.

Entrance Preview

It was exclusive entrance for the course by amity university only. It was not that difficult and the medium was English.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is intensive and very good. You get familiar with everything very systematically. Subjects like communication skills, behavioral sciences, foreign languages are compulsory to study. It helps you gain skills and confidence. You enhance your language skills and also learn to work and learn in a group. They also make you work on your thesis if you are in post graduation and you become capable of doing research on your own.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it provides internships. I was working in an NGO driven by Dr kiran bedi. I was placed there through my college and it was a good experience there. There was no stipend though.

Placement Experience

4

In campus placements are good. And the university is cooperative in terms of attendance if you get placed. If you want to seek placement outside, you make a good impression as well because you have confidence in you after going through a professional course from amity.

College Events

3.5

Tech fests are very interesting so are the annual fests. Artists such as KK and other actors like Salman khan have come to amity on occasions. All kinds of competitions like rangoli competition, robot making contests and other games are there in different fests. Yoga classes, gym, swimming and almost all sports are there in the university itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive, I must say. But not more expensive than other private universities. If you manage to get a scholarship then it works for you in a better way. Otherwise i would like to share that it cost me around 2 lakhs for doing my post graduation in clinical psychology from amity university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who score more than 90 percent in the 12th standard are eligible for huge scholarships in the form of deduction in fee.

Campus Life

5

Everything is good when it comes to extra co-curricular activities. Swimming pool is also there. A lounge and gym is also there. Outlets like dominos, subway and ccd are there in the campus itself. Gender ratios is good and it's safe for female students.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are good. The mess is inside H block and common for all hostels. There are other canteens as well. Restrictions are very much. There are special thalis made during navratras, so basically you won't be dissapointed by the quality of variety of food in amity. Grocery and fruit stores are inside the university itself.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is available on amazone, i.e. The college's internet portal. At the time of admission, a senior is assigned as your mentor, so that you can clarify all your doubts from him or her.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is finely planned. It is hectic in a way. Sometimes you are super busy from 9am to 6pm. However, once a paper was cancelled during the exam time itself, and a new paper was given to us and the exam time was extended. This was very frustrating for us as we had to write almost whole of the paper twice. No responsibility was taken for that mistake by anyone.

Admission

I filled the form online. The payment was done online as well. The form was for 1000rs. After that i was called for an entrance test, followed by an interview on the same day. After a few days i received email and message regarding my selection for admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty is good and cooperative. They are stressed at times but they are reliable. They teach well and provide materials for studying from time to time. You have to run behind them though, if you need any help or have any query, because they themselves are very overworked and stressed all the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.
