Likes

Infrastructure and facilities is good there
Faculties there are so kind and helpful
Campus are so big there is a lot of canteen and you were not being boring anymore

Dislikes

Fee the fees is so expensive for middle class family
Attendance you must have to attend 75% attendance other wise you have to pay 10000
So far from city it is located in village that’s why I don’t like it all

Course Curriculum Overview

That's good all the facilities were good and helpful . I choose this courses because I want to be a drug inspector and I need to help other peoples. Also the teacher and faculty we're so excellent they support a lot for students and help in to make projects.

See right now I am study in CU which is in Mohali Punjab if you ask me about fee structure then I obviously say that is expensive for middle class family . But that college is really worth it they provide a lot of opportunities and help in to make jobs

Campus Life

That campus of CU is good and infrastructure of CU is so nice . There is lot of extra curricular activities like cricket and many more they also provide scholarships according to their sports . There is a lot of canteen so you don't need to get food .

Admission

Admission process is kind of easy . We just have to give one test that is CUCET ENTRACE TEST which is held by Chandigarh University it is basically online so you can do test by your own place . You can get multiple scholarships for upto100% you just have to attempt cucet entrance test that's it

Life at PCTE , an honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

This aligned with my dream of staying intact with medicine as the main part of curriculum but in an entirely different way . You get to learn about how it's discovered, designed, undergoes different preclinical , clinical trials ,manufactured , and then distributed under the related ethics, laws and regulations . You cannot wholely depend on faculty for your training for next entrance exam but need to put extra efforts to get by yourself and practice harder for GPAT. The faculty teaches as per the PCI guidelines for IKGPTU examination.

I choose this course in order to become a pharmacist. My course includes 4 labs in a week and 3 classes in a day. It is mandatory for every students to perform One experiment in every lab . Faculty members also helps us to perform the practicals. Mid sem examination is taken 3 times in a sem.

Placement Experience:

In 2023 my college placed 45-50 students in macloeds , and other pharmaceutical industry.but in 2024 They didn't do any placement. If u see any post of my college which say that this student was placed in 2024 all are fake Because they didn't give any placement. Theh will try to do one interview for a company which make medical devices but no one interested to do job in medical devices company because we study the pharmacy so we want to do job in pharmaceutical company. when my college didn't give any placement so students like me and my friend are very frustrated of job I was selected in Cipla after 5th month of completing my course .

the placement is good in this campus but in our course we gets maximum 5 or 6 lakh package but not more then this but there are too many opportunities in government field and the private sectors by clearing tests we can get a good salary with good amount of package so we need to take good cgpa in the exams by which our final cgpa would be decided so we could get a good placement in this course mainly we need good score for a good placement

Placement Experience:

Honestly .. in our course there is very low chance of placement.. if anyone get offer letter .. that is around 12-17,000 per month which is very less and no one can go for this job. In the last 4 years in our campus famous company visits and also provide 4-5 lakh package. but currently there is no one visit and providing placement ... in future i can't say anything... that time changes and company visiting our campus

short story of livelihood in CU by a student of its own campus

Choosing a college after 12th is a puzzle with many pieces: academics, placement,fees and personal aspirations. My primary goal was to get into a reputable priate university for cse that had a strong placement record without bieng financially crippling. i recieved confirmed admission offers from Cu and Chitkara. the Rejections: why i didn't make it to thapar or manipal: i'll be honest , thapar was my top preference. it has a legacy and a stellar reputation. My downfall was JEE MAINS score . for premier private institutions like thapar and the main campus of the manipal , the competetion for CSE is incredibally fierce. My JEE percentile score was good enough to get me into many colleges, but i wasn't in the top bracket required for a confirmed CSE seat in the initial rounds at Thapar. i was waitlisted, but the waitlist barely moved for the CSE branch. For Manipal i appeared in thier entrance exam(MET) but my rank was not high enougj for the CSE branch at the main campus of MANIPAL . it's hard pill to swallow , but its fine and was a reality check for me , so at last io have to choose between CU And Chitkara and i landed at Chandigarh Universtiy as i compared both of them and found this to be more good according to my requirements ....Read More
