Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I like to operate on computers. The faculty here are capable and experienced on the subject they take and enough teachers are available for the students. The faculties are highly qualified for their position. Each has their own teaching styles. Exams are conducted on regular basis which gives us good breaks.
Fees and Financial Aid
As ALAGAPPA is a government affiliated college it has really less fees compared to other private colleges. For my course it was 1041 rupees. There are scholarship available for students but I don't have any of them.
Campus Life
Annual festival are conducted on the end of March or the beginning of April. Tech fest for various courses are also conducted before the annual festival. Alagappa has the largest library in entire Karaikudi of over 5 lakhs of books and journals. Our department has computers for students. Sports day is conducted just before the annual festival and prizes are given. There are no social groups, clubs or websites for students run by students.
Admission
The eligibility of BCA was the mark percentage in 12th board examination. I found the application forms in respective department head and the application fee was paid in office on the same day. I did not have any reservation benefits. I would like if there was less time spend on the process.
