Review about my college.

The main reason for why i chose this course was my likability towards technolgy or the computers.The faculties here are great at nurturing students.Enough faculties are available not just for major courses but also for miscellaneous such as value education.The faculties are highly experienced in the subject they undertake and provide students with enough resources for the subject.Each faculties have their own way of teaching styles.The exams conducted were tough at first but I came to it terms on the following ones.Each exam has their respective breaks.

As Alagappa college is a government affiliated one the fees for the course taken is relatively smaller which reduces the financial pressure on students.For me the fees for entire uear os 1041 rupees excluding the ecam fee.There are scholarships available for BC and SC/ST background. Government will provide fund according to the student's familial situations.I haven't had this scholarship or any job on the college campus.

The annual festival will be conducted on the end of march or the starting of april.Many programs will be conducted from students all around the college such as speech,dance,music etc.Tech fest for all the courses on the college will be conducted before the annual festival.Alagappa college has the biggest library in entire sivaganga district of over 5 lakhs books.For BCA we have about 60 computers for the student's use.Sport fest will also be conducted before the annual festival.Aside from that extra curricular activities such as quiz,speech will be conducted on various months around the year.Various sports groups are available for students such as cricket,kabbadi,etc.

I had applied for BCA in the nearby netpark before going to the college for admission.It was a fair process during the admission.The process of selection was done on the basis of our 12th mark percentage.The students with higher percentage was called first and were given the choice of any degree they like.The application forms were then given by respective department heads.Then we got the signature from the principal.Then the fees was paid in the office.I didn't get any reservation benifits.Some improvement that could be made is to have the admission process completed in time for all students.Students with lower marks had to wait for a long time.I wish it could be reduced by an alternative way.
