The college has annual sports meet, along with a departmental picnic, cricket tournament, football tournament, badminton, table tennis tournament. You will never feel low in life after passing out from this institution. also, there is blood donation camp organized by the college union and college administration takes an active role in all of these events. the main USP of this place is it is always vibrant with various functions and events. campus life was just exceptional. You will enjoy the period. It may not be a dream college for many. But this place has something for which you will yearn the most. The cultural festivals, the lab, the garden, the decorated and beautiful corridor will remain etched in your memories

the hostel facility is not known by me as I lived in my own accommodation. But since my few friends lived in the hostel they used to see the place is quite dingy. But anew girls hostel has been opened in the vicinity of the campus. Which is just awesome. It adds another feather to the achievement of this college.

The senior students are very helpful and very supportive. Which I am repeating again. The college has its own union. And the student union is quite strong here. people are quite interested more in politics than mere in academics. You may have to compulsory take part in some of the events organized by the students union. Right now all colleges in Kolkata has T.M.C.P union this is also one of them. But the union and its member are really very nice and supportive

the exam structure is one semester and one test before every final exam which is conducted at the end of each academy year. For Honors or pass course in B.a, B.s.c or B.com the structure is same throughout the curriculum. however, if there is any change then that is done as per the guidance and instruction of Calcutta University.

I applied for admission from the offline admission from provided by the college authorities from counter. The entire process was supposed to be turned online . Since I left the college in 2015, I can not give the exact scenario at present. But authorities are very helpful in getting you with the formalities. The union members and senior students of the college will guide you through the admission process. The challan for admission fee is paid through corporation bank, which is just few meters away from college campus. (you can also pay online). After successfully submitting the form your name will appear in merit list. Three merit lists are published by college . If you are eligible for the desired course your name may be reflected on merit list
