Remarks

My main reason behind choosing this college is that it is highly famous for its Journalism department and other departments too. Frankly speaking, the faculty of journalism and mass communication is very helpful and supportive. They do not just teach us just for passing exams but for our practical application too. The location of the college is very friendly for both boys and girls, even big sized Vehicle can easily pass. Campus and canteen facilities are also well. We celebrate independence day, saraswati pujo and so many things together with other departments. Now coming to the education quality, you'll never feel a lack of anything because our facility is way more responsible than the rest of the major colleges. They provide us with a large spacious library. The classroom for media students is well furnished with all the essential equipment. They provide a separate tee-shirt for only media students which we have to wear before attending any workshops or ground reporting.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course is basically about practical learning and our college has arranged a perfect classroom with all the essential equipment and books which are required for studying media science. They arrange workshops and ground reporting for the better learning of the students. The faculty of this college is very Frank and supportive. They personally check on each and every student and they keep a track of them in a positive way. They're very encouraging and helpful in every aspect. Even the projects given by them are not boring and exaggerating, you'll find everything meaningful and will learn from them.

Internships Opportunities

5

Teachers will guide you in your internship as they're fully supportive, they might help you find an internship easily. I can assure you after studying from this college you can expect something big in life if your skills are developed under these people.

Placement Experience

5

From second-semester students start doing internships from where they learn a lot of practical work experience and campus placement starts from the 5-6th semester. There are many students from this college who is working in famous companies and some have switched to foreign countries for work purposes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees for Journalism and mass communication honors is INR 11,000 only Fees for other courses range between INR 2,000-9,000 depending on the course you've applied for. (Fees is almost the same in other colleges too and if you check for mass communication fees you'll find new Alipore college has low fees structure and better education quality) There are many scholarships you can apply for depending on your marks, scholarships like Akiyashree, swami Vivekananda and Nabanna scholarship, and many more.

Campus Life

4

Spacious library, big canteen, a small garden with plantation and fountain on it, the campus looks beautiful and it is spacious too. There are no unnecessary restrictions for students as everyone is very humble and friendly as long as you're behaving nicely.
