Course Curriculum Overview

I chosen BTech in minerals metallurgical and materials engineering in IIT bhubaneswar. IIT bhubaneswar offers a high epupied laboratory and highly qualified professors in my college the faculty and student ratio is around 1/12 we have good motivation and highly supportive faculty and our faculty available for all the time and we get good and quick response from our faculty. Our are PhD scholars with a first class in the relavet branches with minimum 3 to 5 years experience in teaching field we will have term exams after 2 months of course begins and the difficulty level was moderate

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The students can register for a degree in government funded technical institutions and the students refered by various academics , desirous to carry out internships. Some start-up companies will visit our campus foor internships

Placement Experience

The 7 and 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements the company's visited to our college is Accenture,dell, Flipkart,etc . The highest package as per company and profiles offered is 64 LPA and average package is17.5LPA till now 80% of students getting placements . I want to pursue mtech in materials engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is reasonable a middle class candidates can afford it .The fee structure for tution is 150000 per semester and for hostel and mess is 18000 per semester we are eligible for educational loans and scholarships like NSP

Campus Life

There are several fets like dj nights, star night, enterpreneur das and ashvamedha sports fests are some common fests happening on December and January . Our have library facilitie and a shopping complex

The accommodation was good with one room for one person with wifi and lan facility commen washing machine for each floor . Our hostel have hospital with well equipped icu's .but our hostel mess was below average

Admission

The eligibility criteria for jee advanced is the candidate must have secured a rank among the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in the jee mains exam.it is completely paper free process we can apply on online and the application fees for sc/st/pwd candidates 1600/- rs for all other candidates it is 3200/-rs a 5% horizontal reservation is available for pwd candidates in case the cutt off is around 98% for a particular course,a female candidate can apply for the same seat at around 93% I is completely perfect in addmission process.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
