Course Curriculum Overview

I choose mechanical engineering cause thats what i was alloted during by JOSAA . Our faculty is highly experienced and communicative. Though we are a little stressed during exam like every other student but comparitively the curriculum is easy

Google, amazon , uber , sprinklr, mercedes, jaguar, tata motorsetc are some companies that i can think of at the top of my head offering a wide variety of roles like data analyst, SDE , consulting , product management etc

Placement Experience

Placements are good. We have a dedicated training and placement cell that works for a smooth process to help students get placement and internship opportunities.about 900~950 students were placed this year

Fees and Financial Aid

I would say that the fees is a little high for general ctegory taking in account that it is a government institution. There is a big difference in fee structure for category rank students( 20% of general fees)

Campus Life

Kashiyatra the annual fest is held in the month of january . A wide variety of books and journals are available in the library. Student actively participates in a variety of sports. Clubs including buisness , coding, dance etc are quiet active

Hostel Facilities

Rhe hostel facility is good rooms are good, enough spaces . Washroom and corridors are cleaned regularly. Food can use a little improvement. Shops and markets are at walking distance . Overall the hostel are good

Hostel Fee: INR 16350 per year

Admission

To take admission in Indian institute of technology(banaras hindu university) i cleared joint entrance examination (jee) and scored a rank of 7432. Cutoff for the examinations is 1-1.5%. I didn't take any reservation benefits

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
