Likes

I liked the friends I made here. I've met a lot of interesting mentors and friends here.
A few faculty is leisure and wise enough to rely on.
The canteen is decent enough to snack from.

Dislikes

The canteen is way too crowded during breaks.
The infrastructure is a massive let down which becomes problem often.
Students are on their own journey and cannot rely on the staff or faculty for help unless very less.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to learn and improve my knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The faculty:student ratio is appropriate. The faculty is not much cooperative or helpful in academic teaching out of the syllabus. The exams are conducted two exams in one day which stresses out the students and results in bad results.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is decent and the student needs to beware of the scholarships they are eligible for as no one is of help. I have received a scholarship with the help of my Income Certificate. The fee hike has just increased a 11k fees from the regular fees.

Campus Life

The campus infrastucture is abysmal. It becomes a mess during rainy seasons as water gets on the campus too much. The blocks are safe, but insufficient for the massive crowd of students. The bus bay is drowned under a lake since 2 years. The library has decent amount of books. Sports and extracurricular activities are not openly encouraged nor discouraged on the campus. Though events around them are conducted once an year, it's very difficult for students to participate or spend time to practice. The social clubs are enthusiastic enough to work, but they are not given permission to run properly by authorities.

Admission

I got admitted through my EAMCET rank. My rank was 10037. I received a deduction of 30k fees as my rank was in between 10000-15000. I have applied for a list of colleges during the TSEAMCET counselling round and was admitted to this college. There were three rounds conducted and my final choice was this college.

From 3.1 the students of the campus are eligible for placements and faculty also helps us in guiding regarding the placemnsts and stuff . There are various number of companies like tcs , Accenture , google ,Microsoft ,next wave and etc . The offered packages are full like our seniors are 100 percent placed from the campus . The highest package of last year senior is 14lpa.my plans after getting degree is to work in the company which I have been placed

My BTech experience at CMR Technical Campus 21-25 batch

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
