Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course beause CSE was a booming branch by my time. There are a bit less faculty members to manage all the students as the student ratio is increasing but the faculty ratio isn't. More than half of the faculty members are highly qualified with PHD or M.tech of their respective subjects. They teach very good and understandable. They have the patience to teach you again if you don't understand. There may be a month and half time between eacn midterm as our batch is affiliated to AU. The correction is a bit hard for both midterm and semester. It will be so difficult to pass the exam if you not even attempt the questions.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Being a 2nd year student, I have not done any internships yet. But they provided us an AICTE internship. My seniors have done various interships. They give us intership holidays im 3rd year. College only provide few free interships. As I did not done any internship yet, i have not got paid.

Placement Experience

1.5

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year. As there is rescission all over the world for software jobs, there are no kobs for our seniors at present. No company visited for providing placements. My plan is to become a software engineer if there is no rescission in the future luckily.

Fees and Financial Aid

At our time, the total fees is 70200. The fees of the course is actually 60200. But the another 10000 is for value added courses. The cost of study is good for this college. JVD is applicable for the students of category A. So you have to pay only 10000. If you crack GATE exams, college will fund you 30000rs. I am not placed yet as I'm still studying. Our seniors are experiencing rescission of jobs now, so they are not placed yet. Before this the job oppurtunities are not bad.

Campus Life

1

Our college is too bad for organizing fests adn events. They mostly prefer to not encourage such fests and events. Even if they do, they put so many restrictions on to it. Even the annual fest has 50-50 chances of being conducted. Books and journals in library are jus enough for completing the course successfully. There will be no sports or curricular activities mostly. If interested we personally can participate in university wise competions. But this college is too bad to expect social gatherings here. The college infrastructure is not good. This is really a small college. The washrooms are not neat. Classrooms are insufficient for the growing ratio if students. There are few clubs organized by students such as COSENGERS, PIXEL, AIMERS ,etc. They all are organized by students of respective stream. The conclusion is, student life of enjoyment and cultural activities should not be expected from this college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In hostel, rooms are too small or big enough according to the block. In my block, the give a wardrobe, bookshelf, bed, table, one plug point. The clean washrooms and rooms one time a day. The meal is good to eat comparing to other colleges. The only disadvantage is they don't feed you non-veg. But orders are allowed. The quality of food and quantity is good. You just need to meet the hostel warden, book a room and pay the fees. The hostel fee is a bit high for the facilities and menu they provide, mainly as it is a vegetarian menu.

Admission

I joined here as my EAMCET rank is 8993. You can be eligible to join in this college if your EAMCET rank is below 20000 if you are an OC candidate. If you are an SC/ST candidate you can yet it if your EAMCET rank is below 100000. The application process is conducted in class rooms at ground floor or the auditorium according to the branch. I was asked to submit my transfer certificate, 2 photos, Dupilicate 10th certificate, dupilicate intermediate certificate and the fee reciept that you have paid full fees by that day on my admission. There must be more classrooms allocated for the admission process as it was so messy and chaotic during my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
