MANIT- NIT in city of Lakes

The faculties are quite good.. in the electrical department. I got admission in the COVID scene, so went through both offline and online curriculam.. In online mode..it was a bit difficult to cope with the syllabus...but after some doubt clarification sessions able to clear all exams with no problem..

Many companies and research institutes provide opportunities for internship and R&D work. Number of conferences are organised for paper and general publications..ex IEEE, elsewhere,Etc International conferences are also there Companies like Tata motors, Philips Bajaj, Siemens, Cummins provide paid internship with 25k to 50k per month

In my batch of mtech power system and electric drives.. almost all students got placed in package with range 6 lpa to 16 lpa.. Companies like tata motors, Philips,Bajaj, Siemens, Cummins, general electricals..and many more comes regularly..and offers both internships and full time placement... I joined tata motors after 2nd semester so completed my 2nd year project and internship from there only.

Fee for MTech courses is around 42k for 1st semester..and 50k for rest. (For general category) and 7-8k (for SC and ST) For GATE qualified students stipend of 12400 per month is fixed..but students gets it for around 20 months

Campus Life is not that impressive or different from other government institutes.. both hostelers and day scholars are on same page.. Bhopal is a good city to enjoy... Departments are very distant from hostels and main gate..so 2 wheelers are must ... Infrastructure is also same as other government institutes

Got admission through GATE 2021. Qualified for GATE in 2021 in electrical engineering and applied for counseling. The cutoff is quite low..Can get admission easily even in qualifying marks.. In my case Cutoff for general was around 30-31. In the last round of counseling, I got MANIT.
